There is some great progress shown in these photos but Body for Life gave the impression that going from overweight to a ripped six pack is commonplace whereas this competition gives a more realistic view.

That's a good point Cheeky. The various shapeups on this site do show what is realistically achievable, but also what is achievable is you really nail your diet.

I think they may have exaggerated what is achievable in 12 weeks! There is some great progress shown in these photos but Body for Life gave the impression that going from overweight to a ripped six pack is commonplace whereas this competition gives a more realistic view.

Ah yeah...fair point

Allthough TBH if you followed a proper diet for the full 12 weeks then I think it is possible..with no cheating.

I only had a quality diet for about 2 of the 12 weeks and I still did alright..all about how dedicated you are I guess, not to take anything away from the competitors of course
