RACK Just keep looking at my status updates mate lol, always have to tell everyone I'm training I know, that is what I get like. So people can jump all over my arse if I don't ha ha. I don't mention when I have a drink though ha ha but my random status updates and ramblings prove that. Ah well, 7 weeks left, I won't be winning the competition but want to make at least some visible progress which 2lbs a week should do. Cheers fella

Keep at it CL. 7 weeks is a looong time really - short in the scheme of things but heck it's the better part of 50days.
Awesome pic, but Tony you're not doing yourself many favours posting up tips on preventing the gag reflex and then a picture of a guy touching his toes - Ak

I can make a big difference in that time I know, just got to nail the weekend drinking. If I drink Friday I am wrecked til Sunday, diet wise and cardio wise. I will do it though and hopefully you will see a difference in the photos. I look different with clothes on just hope it is the same with clothes off....might have to employ a young lady to compare ha ha

Had a bit of a short term setback. Firing on all cylinders now that i have my very own spin bike for morning cardio, so no more expensive trainers or jogging in the rain or overtrained lower legs, yay (groovy birthday present i may add!) 79kg and still getting leaner by the week.

I'm doing ok, just doing plenty of cardio, weights and eating as I should and being disappointed by how slow weight loss can be. Still, in 7 odd weeks time, should be pleased.

My motivation is up at the minute - but i did some progress photos a day or two ago and yesterday i cropped all the photos i've done to do a better comparison and can't really see as much change as i feel. I've had numerous people comment on me looking slimmer in clothes, but i guess being at the high end of bodyfat levels it's going to be a while before i really see any siginificant progress in underwear. I know i'm only about 10lbs down from 280odd and hope to be ~30down and down to maybe 30% bodyfat at the end of the challenge so by then i'm really hoping to see some real difference.
Awesome pic, but Tony you're not doing yourself many favours posting up tips on preventing the gag reflex and then a picture of a guy touching his toes - Ak

True but i'm not on a keto diet mate just low carb. Other than ditching the nuts i can't see what else i can do, don't really want to cut out protein. I'm consuming i reckon around 70g of carbs a day which isn't exactly a huge amount is it. I guess i could just eat tuna for all meals exepct the mackeral as i want the Omega3 from it and not eat the chicken or the lamb :( Papa what HR do you hit on your pre bed cardio?

How long after you've eaten is the evening cardio mate, is it after 3hrs your in a fasted state? Also on my diet mate i'm not exaclty light either i'm sitting at 96kg at the mo at 5ft 8 so can't see how i'm not losing weight. I was maintaining the weight eating 3 square meals a day with carbs included in all of them plus snacks and stuff as i was away from the gym and didn't put on any weight over a 2 month period. Now i've drastically changed diet and back training 6 days a week and nothing, just doesn't make any sense at all. Looking to up cardio from 3x a week at 85% hr to 2-3x a day depending.

Generally about 2 hours after I give or take in the evening. I don't stick to 2 hours religiously (depends which I lift really). I reckon you prob are not doing enough cardio/weights to gain that extra 500-1000 cals a day being burnt as needed to burn 3500-7000 cals a week (and thus 1-2lbs of fat).

I've lsot 8lbs overall, but nothing really over the past 3 weeks....been racking up the hours revising in the library and consequently diet has gone to pot...chocolate, crisps, pre-packed sandwhichs etc etc. Finished my last exam today, currently on my 4th pint with about 8 more to go plus a small bottle of vokda and shots when I'm out.....this drink and food bender will continue till the weekend then it's back on track nailing the cardio and diet next week. looking to finish the shape up around a lean and mean 12stone10lbs....currently 13stone6lbs

I am looking to finish at around 12 and a half stone if possible. If I make that then I will be over the moon regardless of the condition. Just enjoying the cardio at the moment to be honest, any worries about losing size have gone out of the window

I'm down about 5lbs - not stellar but I'm hoping that jetisoning the voddy will help in the last weeks. I'm definitely looking leaner.

I'm now 183lbs so lost 16lbs, too much really as was wanting to finish at 182lbs but be leaner and hold more muscle but with my plantar fascia injury to my left foot meaning I cant train legs or do any standing weight lifting exercises, and a strained common extensor tendon on my left elbow meaning I cant lift heavy anyway then I suppose I can't complain think I'll try again next shape up and go on a bulk, hopefully injuries will be healed by then
