Shredded Mass / PCT Bridge recommendation needed
29 January 2012 12:22
( permalink)
Hey guys, I am just about to complete a course of BBS Complete PCT Stack (along with Milk Thistle) after initially taking Chap Labs Shredded Mass. I intend to have at least a month off (probs two) before taking Shredded Mass once more. In the meantime is there a supplement anyone can recommend as a bridge please? I'll continue to take protein and creatine, but from past experience I don't want to lose my gains. thanks.

Hey Nick, it worked really well... arms and shoulders especially definitely got a lot bigger. Make sure you take milk thistle alongside it however as can mess up your liver!

Shredded Mass is an awesome sup - great ingredients and we've noticed it's beginning to take off a bit recently. I guess because it's no longer winter and people are starting to think about leaning out?

Shredded Mass is basically Epi + fat burners (see below). I'd treat it like an Epi cycle - i.e. PCT should be effective but you don't need to go overboard...it's not like a superdrol cycle, and as PH's go, it's relatively mild. The PCT you outlined looks fine to be honest. When I've run Epi before I just used ATD and a test booster. What makes Shredded Mass special is the addition of these, as well as the Epi. It makes it like stacking Epi and a really good fat burner, all in one product, but much more cost effective: Forskolin - Forskolin is research proven to both help reduce bodyfat, and increase testosterone. In fact in a recent study, researchers found that "Oral ingestion of forskolin...was shown to favorably alter body composition while concurrently increasing bone mass and serum free testosterone levels". (Source: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16129715) Caffeine - a well known, well proven thermogenic. Caffeine is commonly used to both suppresse appetite, and boost metabolic rate. Green Tea - Green Tea has long been used to assist with weight loss, help treat headaches, body ache, poor digestion, improve overall well-being. The main way in which Green Tea may assist in fat loss is through epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) - Green Tea is rich in EGCG, and EGCG has been linked to increases in the rate at which fat is burned. Methyl-PEA - Methyl PEA is a metabolite of regular PEA, with an important difference. With normal phenylethyl amine, the monoamine oxidase enzyme is very quick to break down PEA, so quick that it really isn't really worth it. By adding the methyl group to PEA, MAO isn't as readily able to break down the PEA structure, improving the time that PEA stays active in the system. Methyl-PEA works in part by increasing noradrenaline release from sympathetic nerve terminals thus increasing adrenaline. This inter-acts with the powerful other stimulants in Shredded Mass to assist in creating the feeling of extra energy, and improved fat burning. Geranium Oil - as seen in USPLabs Jack3d, and USPLabs OxyElite Pro as well as several other recent fat burners. Geranium Oil resembles the body’s own chemical messenger, epinephrine (adrenaline). Like adrenaline it is a powerful CNS stimulant and works through a similar chemical pathway as ephedrine, causing a rise in cAMP, the chemical messenger that triggers fat release. 3,5-Diiodo - as seen in Gaspari Mitotropin, VPX Meltdown, and a number of other highly rated fat burners. Studies have demonstrated increases serum levels of growth hormone, stimulation of cytochrome c oxidase - aka decouples Electron Transport Chain, and increased activation of Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase. In otherwords, fat burning on a hormonal level!
