Simon45 12 weeks of excuses. 08 January 2012 15:27 (permalink)
Hi all, don't really post on here much flick between here and natural muscle.co.uk.

This seems like a good excuse to lose some fat over the next 12 weeks. I train as a bodybuilder rather than fitness but have dusted off the bicycles as was very keen a few years ago doing triathlon and time trials.

My stats are-

Age 46. 6 feet tall and currently 14 stone 11 1/4 lbs although this varies daily a few lbs.

Chest 46 1/2".
Waist 36 1/2" although 37" across navel.
Upper thigh 24 1/2"
Calves 16"
Upper arm 17"
Superilliac 16mm with calipers.

Train 4 times a week with cardio chucked in as and when I feel like it.

Goal would be 14 stone and get that waist measurement down. Let the excuses begin.

Ps. As I,m mostly and iPod/iPad sort of a guy, how do I post Piccies please.

Good luck everyone.

So week 1 looked something like this without going into too much detail-

    Monday- Back,Biceps and Triceps.
    Tuesday- Cycled 25 mles.
    Wednesday- Rest
    Thursday-Chest,Shoulders,abs.
    Friday-Legs,calves.

Did about 20 mins cardio at end of weights on most days too.

A typical days diet looked something like this-

    1. Fruit or 3 weetabix with milk.
    2. Omelette or 4 poached eggs on 2 brown toast.
3.Soup with tin of tuna chucked in.
4.Whey protein with water after training.
5.Chicken breast with cabbage and broccoli.
6.Glass of semi milk at bedtime.

Never really worked out calories or macros, just go with how I feel and a steady pound weight loss each week and adjust accordingly.
Weigh in today was 14 stone 9 3/4 lbs so 2lb loss this week,
