Site shot gone wrong?! Gear gone to the wrong place.

Had a single shot of 100mg/1ml Test prop (Aplha Pharma) in my right side delt. Usually get a bit of PIP next day on prop, nothing chronic...on one occasion the shot mustve gone directly between the muscle bands as I felt gear pretty much right down towards my tricep...HOWEVER! THIS TIME...it has defied gravity and has gone up. Its now sore as hell and I feel it by the head of the acromion. Please check below for acromion. http://www.eorthopod.com/...pingement_causes01.jpg This is 4days since the shot and there is still loooods of heat around the area and its very sore and Im starting to get worried. Did a light session covering every angle of the delt and Will be starting with heat tonight... Anyone had this?!

Im very fastidious about being 100% on these things...did the shot just after a shower, sprayed the area with disinfectant and always switch pins between drawing out and putting in. The actual site where I did the shot is actually pain free. Its ON the bone accross the clavicle on to the acromion. (very strange) So wouldnt have thought it would be infected....hate anti-biotics!!!

Had somethin similar a couple of times of the years. Last one was last year infact. Put one ml of test into the bicep as usual, next day my elbow/upper arm was very hot, red and tender to the touch, couldnt work out what had happened. I was thinkin "can gear move to another part of the body somehow?" I thought no thats crazy talk but obviously im not the only one. It cleared up after about 5 days though, although i was pretty worried at the time.

To make an educated -aka- experienced guess. If the gear goes between two separate bands of muscle and not into fibres within the bands, then Im guessing it could move. As mentioned, I had a side delt shot that 'leaked' down to my tricep!...But wtf is it doing across my clavicle!!!!!!????????

no idea mate, and I wouldnt like to hazard a guess as to why this happens. if its still bad after 4 days like you say then maybe antibiotics could be in order as thoon suggested?

Same thing happened to me on a delt injection with sust last month. My shoulder swelled up massively couldnt move it felt dead and hurt like hell. It was just some serious PIP, i stopped injecting it on its own and was using the 1rip i was taking with it when i needed too.

Had it loads of times dont worry, happens when i inject to deep or get unlucky with a site, it feels like hot water running round inside the muscle. keep massaging it deeply and it will improve fast, Keep an eye on it though for signs of abscess though it sounds very unlikely.
