South_west_male SEPT 11 SUC - final pics pg 2

Stats - Age:29 Weight 90KG Height 6'3 Goal: Lean Bulk - Move to 96kg with similar BF levels After a good summer cut I went to Egypt on all inclusive end of June and diet fell away a fair bit and then so did exercise for the whole of August due to a shoulder injury. Going to start training in an hour - light upperbody to see how the shoulder is. Will update more details (measurement etc) later. Good luck everyone.

Trained for the first time in 5 weeks today, Managed Incline DB Press, a little work on Pec Dec - Shoulder felt good. Also weighed myself on the gym scales - 94kg which are probably more acurate than mine! thats 8KG since June although quite a bit of that will be water. So I will go by the gyms scales and make my aim a nice round 100kg!

Haven't had chance to take measurements today but will try and get them done this week. Should know better but wish I had done a week of all overbody work to get me back into the swing of things today - although kept light volume was fairly high and think I'll be feeling it in the morning. Oh well, have a kettlebell class to teach first thing and then off on a CPD course for rest of the day so that should loosen me up! Going to try and get into the gym late tomorrow and hit my back - favourite bodypart to train. Food intake has been fairly good. Normally very good but after holiday in June and injury lapsed big time with a LOT of icecream (10 tubs of BandJ minimum a week for last month) Carrot cake and cheese cakes have not helped. Suprisingly rest of diet has been very good and hasn't increased my BF quite as much as I though it would. Going to go back to eating very clean, paleo based but not anally so but with a lot more carbs in and around training.

3 days training done so far and most importantly shoulder is holding out well although the weights have been fairly low. Still after not doing anything for weeks DOMS have really set in. Have missed a hiit session but will try and fit it in later although have 2 hours of spinning to teach this evening so will prob let myself off. Food has gone well, although had to try a bit of homemade cheesecake yesterday!! Not a big issue but trying to avoid stuff like this for a while!

Going to try some light shoulder work today. Really pleased by how well it's feeling and chiro has told me what I can have a go at. Shrugs will be fairly heavy but everything else nice and light but will be doing a fair amount of volume. Diet is going well. Not sure if I'm eating enough to add much more mass at the moment but all good food going in. Will monitor weight for a few weeks and then adjust intake if I need to.

Hoppy1975 Keep eating clean and you wont go far wrong, how did the shoulder hold up? Yea really well thanks mate. Nothing major - DB Press and some Lat raises. Always experimented with different training methods to a) help me make a judgement on what works best for me and also so that I can help other people. For this Ive decided to follow the science a little bit in regards to TUT, tempo, rest etc. Massive DOMS as a result but this is probably more due to the lack of training over the last month or so.

Haven't posted much the last few days but still training well. Although it's only less than a week - I'm feeling bigger. I know I'm not but just pumped and doms make me feel good and full. Eating well and will weigh in next Friday and decide if I need to adjust slightly. Shoulder holding up well - not pain free but fairly good - just being sensible. Only bad thing is I had to sub a squat session for leg press due to influx of new 6th formers spending hours in the rack!

Been a few weeks since an update so here it is although fairly basic!! Still eating well although for the last week have been extra busy so intake is not as high as i would like. am now weighing 96kg so a 2kg increase since SUC started and body fat levels still reasonable. Training has been good although the last two days work has been a bit quiet so have taken to the garden to enjoy the sun when I could have been going to the gym but I'll take the benefits of relaxation and feeling the warmth on my body for missing 2 sessions and get back hard when the temperature drops 12 degrees next week! Shoulder was great until i tried a shooting and sprawling drill and felt a sharp pain in it, Although seems to be getting better again I don't want to stress it too much. DOMS is still bad although I kind of like this and know its cause my intensity has changed quiter a lot.

4 days no gym! Don't care one bit!!! making full use of this weather before we say goodbye to the sun for 6 months! 3 hours of doubles tennis and an hours wakeboarding on a glass lake lake much more appealing than being inside the gym!

99kg on the gym scales and similar bf levels = me a happy bunny!! haven't been this heavy for about 2 years now. Was aiming for 100kg by beginning of Dec but think I will push that on now to 103kg. Training has been consistently 5 times a week apart from one week where we had amazing weather so did more 'active' stuff outside. Diet is going well. Have eaten really well and solidly (apart from 2 tubs of haagen daaz tuesday night - Never go late night shopping when hungry!!)
