So i think that covers the point i was initially making.

dazc - bullmastiffs great looking dogs, great guard dogs, brilliant with people and children. But for some reason cant tollerate dogs outside their own pack. if they had been around other dogs quite a bit they were fine. But any new dog they wd basically want to kill. i had this with all 3 bullmatiffs ive owned. ive heard similar horror stories of many other poeple. such a shame, very handsome dog. also they just dont respond well to comands, they kind of just want to do their own thing.. one thing i loved about the rotty was he literally waited on my every word and wd act instantanously.. JB - No in busy place he wdnt be. not cos he was vicious but peoples reactions to rottys can be a bit unpredictable. only busy place i used to go was around a lake that was really busy, i wd never dream of letting him off. but in woods on suburban areas, big fields then yes he wd be off and i never had one issue. also when ever i was working on bikes or cars on my drive he wd stand like a statue on the tip of my garden for hours on end not moving.. i didint ask him to guess he thought it looked good lol cats wd even walk right infront of him he wdnt move
