Sounds like you're having a great time mate, but some catching up to do on the training front perhaps. And 24-hour shifts? Eek!
Love the story about the special beer too. And fancy them naming it after me!

Not24-hour shifts. It's more like 12. Masses of catching up of training to do. I'm gonna be weak as p1ss on my return. If I'm not sub-100 Kilo I'll be amazed.

Lots of breweries brew a "special" on one day a year. Cuvee Van De Keizer Blue is one of my faves, a 11% Belgian quad.

Best beer name is "Worse than Hitler"

Sheffield's the best city in the UK for beer.

Wait, wait, hold up one minute. Losing weight makes the old johnson look bigger ?

It's not so much the length but the girth. I'm becoming a man.

Many happy belated ones to you from me too matey... why you wrapping sh1t in tin foil??

We have to bake it to get rid of the water, so the tin foil keeps it warm.

So once you've finished building the underground sex dungeon, when is the grand opening party?

Oh, and who invented the skip?

I don't know, Bobby moore?

I rely on Facebook prompts for birthdays.
I am genuinely sorry to miss the opportunity to photoshop you in some way though.
I have been working on the wedding present though.....so far so good.

Please try not to create a singularity.

Very excited about the wedding present! More than the wedding even (srs).
Not sure why my birthday disappeared from Facebook. I assumed I was just unpopular on the day.

Nope, I had no idea what it was, what it does, what it's for or how it works... but it has a face.

I'm now thinking it's some kind of glorified glory hole now I know someone gets inside

A glorified glory hole? That's a lot of glory.

That underground place looks like a scene from Aliens, or is that the effect of The Dark Lord. Seriously want some of that.

It's not underground but there isn't much light. I'll take some pics later.

You'll never, ever, ever see Dark Lord. It's rocking horse poo, and apparently it's not just hype. I will find out on Friday (if it doesn't run out).

I would definitely agree with you about Sheffield. Some great pubs there too. Is The Dead Cat still there? Used to pop in there way back in the '90s.

The Devonshire Cat is going strong. As is the Fat Cat.

No cats have died as far as I'm aware.

Shakespeare, Harlequin, Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield Tap, Devonshire Cat, Fat Cat, Rutland Arms, Brewdog, Thornbridge pubs everywhere too. Not hard to spend a day there, like.

Can't remember the name of the brilliant music and real ale pub I was in last December. Just across the road from The Leadmill?

Yeah sorry mate I missed it too, like Jedi I rely on FB to tell me when it's someone's birthday (even my missus's) and it didn't tell me about yours but then it didn't tell me about your wedding either. Probably something to do with the settings......

Genuine AIDZ.

Back from Sweden, sweet FA calories, a migraine, a hangover, no training, dehydrated and zero sleep.

According to the gym scales I'm 15'3''. That's an 18 lb loss since my PB about a month ago. That's not good.

Tried training today and my god.

I've lost a lot of fat, but definitely a lot of muscle. Things ain''t going to get back to normal until the end of July, but training should pick up.

Sweden was pretty sh1t (proper **** science). The beer festival was immense, but I was destroyed before it started as I'd already been up for 16 hours. Dark Lord was disappointing though.

So tired, buit I'm sleeping on the sofa of the new house all week.....

It'll be worth it... it will all be worth it.

Mixed emotions then bud Weird things going on with the weight by the looks. You won't lose muscle. It's already there, although latent and it will return when you get off the sofa.
Glad to hear the festival went well though

15'3..... keep the fat off and regain the lean mass and things will start looking up

18lb loss in a month is something someone trying to lose weight would be proud of.
Doing it by accident deserves a FFS.
FFS.

18lbs loss in month ! You do know that it's not you that has to fit in to the wedding dress don't you ? At least you'll be beach ready, whatever that means.

It'll be worth it though mate.

Probably.

I don't know.
