Starting again after 1 year out.

Well last year went abit wrong, lacked discipline ie getting wasted on booze/drugs every weekend and the gym was to far away, I know excuses, excuses. Diet wasn't to bad (apart from as mentioned above) I certainly gained alot of weight on clean food, but undertrained so it went to waste. Still got my diet in a spreadsheet from last year but now i'm unemployed, so making 200g of chicken breast with rice at lunchtime would more than severely annoy my parents. So need a few more options as eating baked beans, eggs and bread every lunch time would get boring quite quickly. Quick run down what my diet is currently. Breakfast - 3-5 whole eggs with white bread or around 100g oats with milk and toffee saurce + MP whey protein. Brunch - erm just been drinking milk with banana or nuts when have any in. Lunch - as mentioned earlier struggling what to make, so having to make do with tin of beans beans, 3 eggs (when i have oats in the morning) and bread, need more variety. Pre-WO- whole tin rice pudding and piece of fruit Non-training day - kinda stuck what to have here. Post- WO - Protein shake Dinner- whatever on the table, chicken pasta or similar usually, probs around 150-200g chicken and 200-300g rice on average. Before bed - Cottage cheese and glass of milk. Gradually trying to increase my calories as i've severely undereated over the past year, was 15 stone August 08, now 14 stone 2p. Want to bulk for a few year's atleast so not sure if the diet above is enough for someone of my weight. Cheers in advance

Why would cooking chicken and rice annoy your parents; it's as messy as anything else?! You could cook 2-3 day's worth at a time then fridge the rest to save mess.

More the cost than anything, but yeh a few times a week I don't think they would have a problem with it. Last time they thought I was being obsessive about eating all the time and the whole BB lark - so need sneaky ways of getting protein and calories. Until I move out in a year or so it might be difficult to bulk.

If you need extra snacks that seem normal then just have sandwiches with granary bread. Or have oatcakes A nice healthy snack could be Nairns ginger oat biscuits, cheese, chopped apple and nuts.

Thanks James! Onto training, I thinking of just doing full-body workout for 4-6 weeks, then do FrankieNY'S Mass Building Program..Or would that be to early?

The PT as the gym want's me to lose weight as our scales at home are way off, at 97.5kg by the scales at the gym and 26% BF. I hate cardio but he want's me to concentrate on losing weight for 1 month or so and build fitness before embarking on BB, is he right? Would much prefer to do a full-body workout and mix cardio in there - gradually losing BF whilst doing a clean bulk, than the way mentioned above.

I would listen to your PT. He could incorporate some weights into your training though
