Strength Endurance Challenge (SEC) 03 February 2012 15:29 (permalink)
Mostly training in a gym is based on the single most weight you can lift, or the amount of weight you can lose (or gain) to improve your weight lifting, or body definition.

www.worldgymchallenge.com, I believe is the first to look more closely at Strength Endurance. We have created the 'Dark Side' Strength Endurance Challenge for you all to meet your demons in training and see if you can beat them.

Have a look at this You Tube Clip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HPQv39HSow&list=UU6yE1GaxcHQ-eRNmsaCYlDQ&index=2&feature=plcp

After watching it, decide if you woud like to do it. At present Richard Vint using 16kg dumbbells and 40 kg barbell achived the fastest time of 18:22 and Royal Marine Jon Worthey using 15 kg dumbbells and 40 kg dumbbell achieved 17:53.

What makes this challenge unique is that there was never a focus point on which to publish results to ... untill now. You can send results into World Gym Challenge.com using our unique Online Verification Form (http://www.worldgymchallenge.com/form_clienttime.asp) and we will publish the results - or your gym can sign up and publish them specific to your gym.  In effect a Online Achievement Board for 365 days of the year.

If you think you can challenge your self to the Dark Side Gym Challenge, you can also post your time to this thread ... but you have warned. It is very , very hard at the advanced level. Sub 30 mins is a very good time.

The most dangerous gym challenge known to man?

I can think of a lot of words to describe a bunch of 40kg squats, dangerous isn't one of them.
