TATTO TO COVER UP STRETCH MARKS?

I have bad stretch marks across my chest and upper arm.

Do you think a tattoo would cover up these horrible stretch marks?

Thanks.

I got seriously bad stretch marks from training on my arms and I mean bad, but now you can hardly see them! Just keep exposing them to the sun and moisturise and such drastic measures as a tattoo can be avoided? Patience my friend!

Plus I always think a tattoo should really mean something as its a mark on your life - not just cause at the moment you have a few body blips hun!

yeah true, but i've had these strecth marks for years and tried everything to get rid of them.

They won't go away unless i have surgery or something.

    Would a tattoo work though?

Do you know the rock out of wwe wrestling?

He has a large tribal tattoo covering up the area i want to cover up. So maybe something like that but just not as big.

Mate, don't get tribal tattoos. They are like Celitc bands, a fashion accessory.

Anway, do you belong to a Maori tribe ?

Give Clair1111 suggestion a go first mate. My wife had some pretty bad stretch marks from pregnancy and after my girl was born she used Bio Oil and just hammered the sunbed for a bit, they're all pretty much gone now. The Bio oils pretty expensive tho, think about a tenner for a little bottle but it seemed to work, smells nice as well.

Yes it will work mate. Ihave bad hypertrophic scars on both my shoulder blades (from acne).

Traumatised me for many years, to the point were I never take my top off in front of people (as bastard when you have 20" guns to show off!!).

Now two large tattoos later, Im strutting around every chance I get!!. It has literally changed my lfe!

go for it bro, if its really troubling you.

    Have lazer surgery.

Check out a procedure called n-lite. Stops acne and helps repair the skin.

Not sure it will help but here goes... Just in case you really don't want a tat and don't mind a bit of effort, and patience.

I thought I post this reply in all appropriate threds in case it can help, and of course stop you spending money on expensive creams that don't work.

Here goes. Let me know what you think.

Ok Guys. Mind if a Girl butts in? I used to be an extreme fatty and have stretch marks everywhere from the age of 14, I am now 38!. Then when I got pregnant I knew I was in trouble as I wanted to compete again and I didn't want to get any more. Well I can honestly highly recommend BIO-OIL. It comes in 75ml and 125ml and you can get it in boots for £8.95 and £14.95 respectively. However I know a seller in eBay I get mine from and I get 3 x 125mls for £29 which is steel.

Anyway; I have throughout my pregnancy used this BIO OIL a few drops over each breast (sorry) and about 8 drops (and I mean drops) over my tummy and hip area. Which are the areas prone to stretch marks while carrying a baby. I have done this religiously for the last 5 months. I am now full tem and expect to deliver within the next week or 2 at the most.

Much to my surprise is this: The stretch marks I have on my breasts from being a heffer have more or less disappeared!! Yep I know. I can't believe it either. My tummy which is Huge (I think) has NONE. And I really mean that. Pictures available on request but it’s not pretty. So I can honestly vouch for this Bio-Oil. I would never use anything else. Because of the drastic improvement on my chest I intend to start putting Bio Oil on all my other stretch marks from my teenage years and see what happens. I’m quite excited. As a Woman I have been so embarrassed and ashamed of them all my life and now it seems there is a cheap option that works.

These were my rules: Drinks lots of water. After your bath or shower: within 3 MINUTES apply BIO-OIL to your most vulnerable area. Spend 3 minutes rubbing in properly. Do this at least 2 x Daily but always after every Bath/Shower when the pores are open/dilated. After this time frame it will not be absorbed as well.

I hope this helps. I spent years trying everything you can imagine. Some ridiculously expensive and they didn’t work. This is cheap, effective and it lasts so long for what seems like a little bottle you will be very surprised.

Hey; I should be a rep for Bio-Oil.

    Good luck

I swear if someone says it I am going to go mental!!

I wouldn't rush into a tattoo just to cover something up mate. It is a lifelong commitment. Try the other methods mentioned and then if you still fancy a tat then go for it.
