TRT and pro hormones

Hi All I am now on TRT (Nebido) and am due 3rd injection. I understand I do not need PCT anymore but would pro hormones still help me at the gym or would it be a total waste of money? If so what would you reommend I take to enhance my TRT and help me improve in the gym.

If you are on TRT to replace your natural testosterone (which presumably low for some reason) then adding in prohormones will be the same as for anyone else, i.e. you will be increasing the levels of anabolic substances in your body on top of your normal testosterone level, so I would say; no it isn't a waste of time. Unlike for someone not on TRT though you won't need PCT.

I disagree. TRT is designed to replace natural test, hence the name. Natural test will be very low for a person to be using trt. As exogenous test is introduced, the hpta will be impacted yet further. Do we really think supplements designed to raise natural testosterone in a person who's natural test is abnormal to start with, and is also using exogenous test, will be of benefit? I really, really, cannot see it!

While it is true that taking a test booster while on TRT is pissing in the wind, I believe the OP could be talking about using a "designer steroid" prohormone - superdrol, etc.

From a training perspective it's better, from a health perspective clearly not It depends what you're talking about though, when I read pro hormones I read 'designer steroids'... You might mean tribulus or something.. In which case no, no help at all.

Thanks for the input everyone, although a couple of conflicting responses. By prohormones I mean designer steroids not trib or anything. Stuff like superdrol etc. Would this type of thing be of benefit. Partyboy seems to know his stuff however all your replies are appreciated.

Ah, that's a different matter entirely. Superdrol et al are steroids. They are simply legal steroids due to a legal loophole that allows their sale otc. A cycle of superdrol or similar would be of benefit in terms of anabolic result, just as a cycle of dianabol would be (a non otc oral steroid). There is no real difference in how you use steroids as a trt user aside from the following factors: 1 - consider your trt dose in the grand scheme of a steroid cycle. Regular steroid users will gradually lose natural test production through a cycle, you will not as your "natural" test is injected. 2 - be more aware of lipid irregularities. Being on trt warrants fairly regular blood works to ensure reasonable ldl/hdl/total cholesterol readings. Using steroids are a sure fire way to cane lipid readings. Also, if you are due a blood test from your gp, consider how long ago you used extra steroids, since abnormalities in lipids or other parameters may give the gp cause for concern and they may think the readings are purely down to the trt. 3 - pct is not necessary, though consider hcg if you notice significant testicular atrophy

Hi Partyboy Thanks for that. Yes it will be a superdrol clone, something like megavol maybe. Im very interested to hear about hcg. What is it? is it legal, can you get it OTC and how much would you pay?

http://articles.muscletalk.co.uk/clomid-hcg.aspx It may be worth talking to your gp about atrophy and hcg with regard to trt use anyway. Only really a concern if you wish at some point to have a baby or the fact that aesthetically small nuts is bothersome to you personally

Partyboy's hit the nail on everything here, but I'd add that if you were to run SD and had the option of increasing your TRT dose whilst on and a little while after use, it would help with both lethargy and maintenance of SD gains post use.

Same as the OP, TESTOSTERONE! On TRT at 200mg. of test E every two weeks which is like a drop in the bucket for me. I'm going to bump this up to 1,000mg a month in February along with tbol and superdrol.
