Ive had this before, it came on with me after walking alot in a certain pair of trainers. When i take them off it goes away so i just stopped using them as much and all my other trainers are fine.

Yea i have noticed tho, that i can walk in the trainers, but after about 20 mins of running, the pain comes....Im wondering if its anything to do with my trainer not being broken in?? as they are fairly new....

well may have found the solution towards this experience:-

Plantar fasciitis is a painful inflammatory condition of the foot caused by excessive wear to the plantar fascia that supports the arch or by biomechanical faults that cause abnormal pronation.[1] The pain usually is felt on the underside of the heel, and is often most intense with the first steps of the day. It is commonly associated with long periods of weight bearing or sudden changes in weight bearing or activity. Obesity, weight gain, jobs that require a lot of walking on hard surfaces, shoes with little or no arch support, and inactivity are also associated with the condition

but this can be the same type of pain thats in the arch, but it can be confused from just having your laces too tight whilst running or the sole of the shoe is too hard so the shoe would need to broken in as in wearing out and about for a couple of days before use.....

If you are using old trainers the same pain can come up from old shoes as the support in the sole has worn away. in other words thats your cue to get new pair.......

If it plantis well...thats where problems begin. as it takes weeks sometimes months to heal as you are always on your feet...

Many different treatments have been effective, although without treatment resolution may be delayed for up to and over a year. Initial treatment includes stretching of the Achilles tendon and plantar fascia, keeping off the foot as much as possible, weight loss, arch support and heel lifts, and taping. Difficult cases may be referred for Physiotherapy

Nasty nasty eh, well that sums it up I suppose.....
bit of a pain in the arch if you ask me lol

            hope this helped.....

It's more common that you would think. If I were to take a guess I would say it were PF as above.
