Protein and fat meals only. Some people do it in a non-clean way, ie burgers but I'm just trying to use EFA's as fats.

So whey and peanut butter shake, quark and flaxoil, chicken salad with olive oil, cottage cheese. Things like that.

I've also now replaced the bread in my tuna sandwichs with lettuce and made it into a wrap.

I'm half tempted to start a journal but I've been cutting for 8 weeks now so I'm a long way through.

So far I've just been doing low carbs, but I'm switching to no carbs to try it.

In theory I've only got 4 weeks left of my cut, as I wanted to do 12 weeks for the summer. But due to a bit of cheating (which I don't mind as it's kept me sane), the fats not coming off as quick as I'd hoped, so I think I'll extend the cut for another 4 weeks and cut during August.

I'm not carrying on past that as I want to be bulking again in Sept.

I've lost 19 lbs (taking my lightest weight as it's been up and down for the last 2 weeks due to me slacken off), in total taking the low carb and cardio appoach, so I'm getting there.

I'll also add.... I think I've got bored of previous diet and lost the commitment I had. I'd cheat only at weekends, then a mid-week cheat would slip in, then another. So I need a change of diet just to re-focus myself and become strict again.

have you been eating the same meals since you started the diet then bud?

ie your tuna lettuce wrap?

I only started the "no carb" diet on Monday. But it's not been too hard as I was pretty low carbs anyway.

I'm feeling a bit light headed today. I train at lunchtimes and I had to miss today due to being stuck at work. But in a way, I think it's a blessing.

I should feel a bit better tomorrow as I start burning fat for energy.

Has anyone got a link to Rightyo's protocol? I'm on the V diet right now, which is going well, and am looking for a diet to go onto during a later cut.

Looking into doing this again sometime soon. I tried it for about a month. I did loose two lbs, but it wasn't the miracle I expected it to be. I did quite well in ketosis actually, no side effects. The main issue is I think I blew it on the weekends. I guess I need to buy Lyle McDonalds books to figure this out and do it right next tme.
