Test e + dbol first cycle log

Hey guys, it's been a long time coming but as some of you may know, I have recently taken the plunge. I've decided to record my progress on here - basically just to keep myself in check, and to possibly help anybody else who is thinking of running a similar cycle.
 
Stats;
 
Age:                          20
Height:                      5'4         (bloody short arse!)
Weight:                     165lbs   (Remember, I'm only small! lol)
Training History:        Introduced to weight lifting at 15 when I started boxing, then started bodybuilding seriously from the age of 17/18.
Cycle History:            This is my first ever cycle - never touched anything other than protein. (And creatine once, although I didn't like it)
Body Fat:                   Around 13 - 14 % at a guess.
 
 
Cycle;
 
Weeks 1 - 12         Testosterone Enanthate (Aburaihan, Iranian)    -     500mg per week in 2 x 250mg doses
Weeks 1 - 4           Dianabol (Pro-chem labs)                              -     30mg per day in 3 x 10mg doses  

 
Other Supplements;       
 
Whey protein           -     used as and when required (usually with breakfast and PWO)
Dextrose                 -     Mixed with protein PWO to ensure an adequate insulin spike
Milk Thistle Extract   -     1,000mg per day to help the liver whilst on dbol
Multivitamin tablet    -     1 per day for general health and well being

 
 
Training;
 
I work out on a 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off basis and it goes something like this;
 
Monday                -        Chest/Triceps
Tuesday               -        Back/Biceps
Wednesday           -        Legs/Shoulders
Thursday              -        Rest and miscellaneous ab work

Friday                  -        Chest/Triceps
Saturday              -        Back/Biceps
Sunday                -        Rest and miscellaneous ab work
 
After doing this, I will then start Monday with the next corresponding workout - which in this instance would be Legs and shoulders. The 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off cycle continues as such.
 
 
Diet;
 
As I'm sure you've already realised - I'm not the biggest guy in the world. And therefore I will be taking in approximately 3,000 calories to start and we'll see where it goes from there. I will monitor my weight and body fat and simply adjust my diet accordingly. I will get 300+ grams of protein per day along with the same amount of carbs and around 80g or so of fats.
 
I won't post my entire diet, but a sample of my food intake includes the following;
 
Protein             -    tuna, chicken, turkey, whey, cottage cheese
Carbs               -    wholegrain rice, wholewheat pasta, wholemeal pittas, fruit and veg

Fats                -     nuts, seeds, eggs
 
 
PCT;
  
My Post Cycle Therapy will begin 2 weeks after my last testosterone jab and is pretty standard;
 
Day 1             -    60mg Nolvadex
Days 2 - 15     -    40mg Nolvadex

Days 16 - 29   -     20mg Nolvadex      
 
 
I think that just about does it really ... I'll try and update as much as possible, but obviously university work doesn't help ...!

    Yesterday was Chest/Triceps and included;

    DB Chest Press

    DB Chest Flyes

    Flat Barbell Bench Press

    Chest Dips

    Close Grip Bench Press

    Triceps Extension

    All were around the 8 - 10 rep range for 4 sets.

    Today I'm really feeling some DOMS n my chest due to the extra volume that I'm not used to - gotta love DOMS!

    Later on today will be Back/Biceps =]

    Sounds like a very well thought out cycle mate, I cant fault anything about it. Good luck with it !

    No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH  - drab4

    Quick workout update - just finished Back/Biceps;
     
    Deadlift
    Barbell Bent Over Row
    DB One Arm Row
    Weighted Pull Ups
     
    Incline DB Curls
    Barbell Curls
     
    Again, all around the 8 - 10 rep mark for 4 sets. However deadlift was 5*5.
     
    Not a lot to report really, strength is around the same which is to be expected as it's still early days at the moment. Although I feel as though I'm pushing myself more than usual (obviously just a psychological thing due to the placebo effect of being "on")
     
    The added volume is different to what I'm used to which is probably a good way of shocking the body to grow - I tend to alternate workouts every couple of months so that the body doesn't get used to a certain routine or volume etc.
     
    Legs/Shoulders Tomorrow =]

    Will be following this one mate, i gained well off my first cycle.
    You got anything on hand incase of probs with water etc? i found i had issues whilst on.

    interesting workout, looks like your body will be getting a good hammering :-D

    Unfortunately no, I don't have anything on hand for water - although I am able to get some adex if I need to in the future. It's just pretty expensive for what it is!

    To be honest, I think I'm gonna keep this as simple as I can, being that it's my first cycle. But we'll see how it goes. I might include it in a future cycle - but I aint thinking that far ahead yet lol

    Cetainly mate. I will regularly update my strength gains on here. And at the end of my cycle I will post up my before and after weight, bodyfat, measurements and strength gains.

    Day 3;
     
    Just finished my first Legs/Shoulders workout whilst being "on".
     
    Still no strength gains - but that's cool because I'm thinking long term. However, I felt that intensity was up - probably just some added personal motivation or something. Anyway, my workout was as follows;
     
    DB Shoulder Press
    Barbell Push Press
    Barbell Upright Row
    DB Lateral Raise Tri-Set (Killer!!!)
     
    Bodyweight Squats (warm up)
    DB Split Squats
    Hack Squats
     
    On a side note my diet has been in check every day so far, and will begin to bump up the cals and protein towards the end of the week - by then the dbol should be pretty active and protein synthesis should soar ... at least, I hope!
     
    I still have some DOMS in my chest from Monday's workout due to the increased volume. And my lower back is aching a fair bit from heavy deadlifts from yesterday (but that's not unusual for me)
     
    Tomorrow is my well earned rest day. I might do a little ab work but that's it.

    Start of day 4; my first rest day.
     
    I woke up to get a nice big prick in my ass :-)   (make what you will of that comment!) Just administered my second test jab in the right glute and everything went fine. Textbook actually which is good because my first injection wasn't without its minor hickups. But thanks for a lot of people's advice - it went very well.
     
    Nothing much to report as of yet since I've pretty much just woken up. However I did sneakily slip onto the scale this morning. I told myself that I would only weigh myself once per week but what the hell! Anyway, I'm up 2.5lbs in 3 days - obviously 95% of that is water but I'm just happy to se the scale moving. Next weigh in will be next Monday. I might weigh myself every Monday and Thursday - not sure yet though.
     
    Looking forward to chest and triceps tomorrow! =]

    Day 5;
     
    Just finished My chest/Triceps workout which consisted of the following;
     
    Incline DB Chest Press
    Flat Bench Press
    Chest Dips
     
    DB Close Bench Press
    Triceps Extention.
     
    Incline DB Flyes were meant to be in there too, but upon attempting them, I felt a painful twinge in my arm when I began raising the weight (kind of where the tricep meets the posterior deltoid if that makes sense!) for this reason I chose to keep them out.
     
    Nothing much to report ... strength is still the same unfortunately - I was expecting to see some gains in strength by now from the dianabol but I guess I'm just being impatient? Diet is still good and protein is constantly on the increase.
     
    Tomorrow is Back/Biceps

    Romanian Deadlift
    Barbell Bent Over Row
    DB One Arm Row
    Pull Ups
     
    DB Hammer Curls
    EZ Bar Curls
     
    some strength gains on both BOR exercises, but nothing spectacular ... still waiting for the dbol to have an effect!!! =[
    If I still don't see ay difference next week I might bump the dosage up to 40mg per day, but do you think?

    Day 7 - Sunday, the day of rest! =]
     
    I've been pretty lazy today. I usually get up every morning at 8 - 8.30am due to university lectures and also to get enogh food in during the day. However, being that it's a Sunday, I got up at 10am instead and have been doing nothing all day except sitting in front of the box and eating! Had a nice big (healthy) breakfast full of protein and good carbs, and then a few hours later I had 2 wholemeal pittas and over half a pound of fresh, lean pork! Awesome!
     
    Later on I think I'll have a tuna sandwich (whole tin) and a couple pieces of fruit and possibly a protein shake too. That should take me up to about 1,800 cals or so and 150ish grams of protein. I'll make up the other thousand or so calories and 150g of protein in my other 2 or 3 meals later on in the afternoon / evening.
     
    Tomorrow is going to be a pretty fun day ... what with my next test jab, Legs/Shoulders workout and first weekly weigh in! Looking forward to it. Also, I've heard that after the first week of being on dbol is when the magic starts to happen - so we shall see!

    Start of day 8;

    Well, first weekly weigh in was today and I've gained 5.5 lbs! I'm usually used to seeing the scale move up about 0.5 - 1 lb per week so I was pretty surprised to see that much weight gain in the space of 7 days.

    Obviously 90% or more is water weight - but I'll take it anyway! Hopefully the strength gains should start to come this week.  Legs/Shoulder workout will be later on today after some uni lectures, so I look forward to seeing how that goes.

    Today was also my injection day (today was the 3rd 250ml jab so far) and it went fine, just like last time. I'm really getting the hang of it now and the shakes are completely gone ... just don't seem nervous at all anymore which is great.

    That's all so far, I will update later when I have finished my workout.
