Certainly is Malc, the more the merrier.
Are you going in the 100 or the 110?

Probably end upo in the 110's mate. Embarrasing as it is to admit. Sorry mate, I know I'm an ignorant tw@t, but I have forgotten your real name? Unforgivable, I know.

Not embarrassing at all Malc, I planned on competing in the 82.5's but now I'm struggling to stay under 90.
My real name is Les mate.

Good work here Les, hows the singlet!?

BTW, Im aiming to enter the <110kg cats soon in unequipped bench. My PB won the m1 at that weight in the british last year, so I figure as I can easily trim to below 110 thats something to aim for.

Cheers Matt, believe it or not I haven't tried the singlet on yet, maybe later if I can get the wife to stop laughing.

Go for it mate, what have you got to lose?

Good session, very surprised to get the PB, I've felt like sh1t for the past couple of days.
That's the first time I've doubled 120, the one at the end was very close to being a single.
Got described tonight by a young lad as 'tonk', I think it was a compliment.

Good bench PB, mate. I remember a few months ago you said you were looking for 200 deadlift, 160 squat and 130 bench (i think?), you are almost there.

The 200 dead should be tomorrow and I don't think the other 2 will be far away. I'm still not sure of the depth of my squat though and I haven't done any paused benching, so next Sunday at the comp should tell me a few things.

Over the fcuking moon to get the 200, but also happy with the triple at 180, the 205 was going nowhere. I was in two minds whether to train tonight or not, still feeling like sh1t.

                                      Sunday update

Weight is down to 90.5 kg, should be ok to come in under 90 for next Sunday.
Missed training on Friday, been ill all week and still not 100% now.

Training this week will be all 3 lifts in one session (something I've never done before) concentrating on quality i.e. depth of squats and paused benches.

Do you train with anyone mate? It would be good to have someone shouting a few commands at you to get used to it. I failed my very first comp Benchpress, because I forgot to listen to the command "press". Even though I'd practised it many times. Pity your not a bit nearer to Northampton mate.
