Cheers Iain I'm supposed to be doing the All England mate, it was 3 weeks before the British but with the change of date it's now only 2, it may mean dropping out of the All England which would be a shame.

good lifts there, from what you said in the gym i'm guessing your happy with them. dont know how you managed it after having the trots, I was bad Thursday & Friday and still not right, had a very poor session in the gym today

huskyboy good lifts there, from what you said in the gym i'm guessing your happy with them. dont know how you managed it after having the trots, I was bad Thursday & Friday and still not right, had a very poor session in the gym today Cheers Dave I was a little disappointed not to get the 125 on the bench because it was there on the day, I just got it wrong, other than that I was happy. The sh!ts had cleared up by Sunday morning which was a relief, I didn't fancy squatting and not being sure I'll be back in the gym on Thursday I think, then definitely Friday to have a massive bicep session before going to Cornwall on Saturday.

Tonights training Flat BBBP 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 3 x 5 x 100 kg Squat 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 5 x 100 kg 3 x 140 kg Deads 5 x 100 kg 5 x 140 kg 3 x 180 kg Rows, DB Presses, curls First session since the comp on Sunday, I've been ill with a cold all week. No training next week I'm on holiday. I've pulled out of the All England in August as the British has been moved to 4/5 September and 13 days between comps is not enough for me.

Tonights training Squats 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 5 x 100 kg 3 x 140 kg 3 x 150 kg Flat BBBP 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 5 x 100 kg 3 x 110 kg Rope crunches First session back after my week in Cornwall, I've put a few kg's on which is not surprising, I had to let my belt out a notch. I was going to just squat tonight and go heavier but after the 150's my right inner thigh and hamstring went very tight and any more would have meant injury.

Tonights training Deads 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 5 x 100 kg 5 x 140 kg 3 x 180 kg 2 x 210 kg (PB) Flat BBBP 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 3 x 5 x 100 kg First time I've tried for reps with more than 200 kg, a very hard fought for 2nd rep but form was still ok-ish.

Cracken deadlifting! Not many heavy sessions left? Due to change of date I took my last heavy session today as opposed to 2 weeks out as on my hold next week. Could probably do with a break. Just need to get sharp quick when I get back but will have 2 weeks so should be no probs

Very nice 230kg deadlift on the vid, Great squatting too, depth looks spot on.

Tonights training Squats 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 5 x 100 kg 3 x 140 kg 1 x 160 kg 1 x 160 kg Partials to bench 2 x 5 x 160 kg 3 x 180 kg 2 x 180 kg Rope crunches No idea what happened tonight, the first 160 was terrible, almost a good morning. I've had a good rest and lots to eat this weekend, I was really up for training tonight and I'd planned a double at 160 then a single at 170 but there was just nothing there.

Tonights training Flat BBBP 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 5 x 100 kg 3 x 110 kg 2 x 120 kg 100 kg x 6, 5, 4 Not great again but nothing more there tonight, I've had some pain in my right wrist and elbow/bicep area for a couple of weeks now which didn't help tonight. My squat shoes arrived from strengthshop.co.uk today so I gave them a quick go tonight, felt really good and fit perfectly.

Thursdays training Deads 10 x bar 5 x 60 kg 5 x 100 kg 5 x 140 kg 3 x 180 kg 1 x 220 kg 2 x 200 kg 3 x 180 kg Pulldowns, rows, curls This was done at Body Flex Gym in Aylesbury as I was away on a course. I had thoughts of attempting a double at 220 but they soon disappeared when I straightened up with the first.

The excuses - poor sleep, not enough to eat, been up and down a ladder all day decorating. I need to get back into a routine sooner rather than later - diet and training.
