Personally I wouldn't concentrate on a particular area yet and would just pick yourself a routine that suits.

Cheers, might aswell stick with my normal - I usually do this Mon-Thus - 15min HIIT running 15mins on the bike (maybe not Wed/Thurs) 3x10 or to failure DB Curls Tri Push Down Seated Row Seated Chest Press Seated Shoulder Press Seated Leg Press Pec Fly Leg Extension I've had a few people coming up to be and saying that I look gaunt. I still have a bit of the belly though, anyone any suggestions on how to help stop this? (My understanding is that I cant because you cant spot lose fat?)

Pete_L I've had a few people coming up to be and saying that I look gaunt. I still have a bit of the belly though, anyone any suggestions on how to help stop this? (My understanding is that I cant because you cant spot lose fat?) Mate - take a look at your progress pics! no wonder people are saying that. If they haven't seen you for a while you will be looking totally different. I think you're right about the fat loss, talking about this subject to someone the other day they said that the body will store around the belly area to help protect and insulate vital organs. Not sure I go along with that completely but an interesting theory! Looking at your pics do you think you look gaunt? (we can't see your face)

Thats the thing if it was people who see me once a year I could understand it but this is people that see me daily. When I look at a pic of myself I look like me... I hardly notice any difference until I compare it to a photo from a previous one (even from a fat lose point of view!!!) I am as white as casper the ghost though :D On a plus note ive mad a few changes to my pre wo shake and this has helped me greatly with feeling tired mid way through the set, I also managed a few PBs after this so hopefully it helps keep it up. Seated Pulldown - 95kg Leg Extension - 90kg Leg Press - 180kg Seated Row 60kg Seated Chest Press - 65kg Most happy with the leg work as you can see all the hard work when performing the exercises.

The new Pre/Post shakes have been working well, noticibly so - Dinner little or no carbs at around 18.30 then let that settle for a bit Pre-Shake at about 20.00 12.5g Whey 5g Creatine Mono 5g L-Glutamine 12.5g Dextrose Gym at 22.30, this will last me 1hr 30mins after which I then have - Post-Workout 25g Whey 12.5g Maltodextrin New pics to follow on Sunday probably, dont think there'll be much difference again. Back on the cardio as of Monday I guess!!

First pics to last pics are like night and day, you've got to be chuffed with the progress you've made. I started training in mid December and was just over 106K and am now settled around 93K and i have worked bloody hard to get there so you must have damn near killed yourself, great work.

Just had a quick look at the pics mate and you have done bloody well. The difference between each picture is immediately obvious. The best thing is that your now getting to the really rewarding part where you get to see yourself going from a fairly average condition to that of someone in shape. If you can keep this up it could be one, if not the best transformation I've seen on this site.
No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH - drab4

Wow, some really inspiring progress you've made there! Stick with it, you're really on the verge of something great there...and don't look gaunt at all.

Have just had my worst training day since I started... I had a week off and now im totally gutted and de-motivated (except stubborness). 5min run and nearly fainted, managed to only complete 1/2 my normal workout at 10-20kg under my normal weights. Sitting in the changing room with my head spinning, about to chunder and dripping with sweat (much more than normal considering what I was doing) POOR SHOW!!!

Right nothing worth posting this month as I had to give the training a miss for most of it, training away from home followed by exam study and then a week working in London means I only got to the gym 3 times in as many weeks!! Also being away from home meant my diet was ruined... only 0.5cm lost around the gut and physical is lacking too. To cap it all off im away to Barcelona on Tues so the diet will be out the window for sure that week. On the plus side my weight hasnt changed...around 79kg
