ORIGINAL: Fat Pete ORIGINAL: ThaiFighter Complete bollocks. Loads of reasons why... only one I can be arsed explaining is that the rich list changes every year, and if you look at who was in it 20yrs ago....it's almost entirely a different set of people to today. Complete...tosh. That's exactly what they want you to think. A list is merely that, a list. You will never know who has what and in what quantity Sounds like Fat Pete knows a bit too much about it...*cough* higher echelons *cough*

ORIGINAL: jango A.K.A. The higher echelons of Freemasonry A.K.A. The Bilderberg group A.K.A. The New World Order A.K.A. The people who really rule the world. The ones who handpick our political leaders whilst giving us the impression that we have actually voted them in. The ones who manipulate the economic system for their own gain and to control our lives. Do you believe, or do those who do believe need to stay away from the internet? Yes mate I belive in some of the ideology you are generalising. World control and domination (or its attempt or intent) has been shown in History. Hitler. The Worlds largest terrorist attack on an innocent civilians AKA the Hiroshima Bomb. The Iraq war for the securing of the pipeline and the rights to the oil reserves control (a massive gain in power over a huge oil reserve) Do some people realy think we went to war to save people from Saddam? Realy? The threat of war against Iran for building a nuclear powerstation? Yes bro I think theres enough evidence to think that not all is good and maybe some people may have dominant ideology

The Illuminati...a group so secret, that everybody knows about them. Personally, I only believe in The Cult of Icke.

ORIGINAL: MJH Sounds like Fat Pete knows a bit too much about it...*cough* higher echelons *cough* The only thing I will say is that many things are believed with very little substance. Some guy appears on the BBC and tells you this or that and everyone believes it on the strength of 1. why would he lie 2. It's the BBC, so it must be right. The world is full of ruthless manipulative people who it suits for us to believe certain things. To what degree this happens I can't say, is it 90% of what we are told or 9% or 0.9% Who knows. But it does happen, of that I am certain

Would the USA start (yet another) War to save people from a tyranical leader just to 'help out', despite the fact that this senario is being played out in other parts of the World and the USA dont give a fck. Or to gain massive control and financial power (way beyong the cost of the weapons used) ?

Well at this point we have have agreed that the War was started for finacial reasons and the reason of 'control' over the oil fields. If the leader wishes his Country to gain massive power via the death of innocent people then that does make them very worthy of the title of Tyrant.

Not some secret organisation but a bunch of dumbass yanks afraid of having to pay $5.00 a gallon. You don't honestly think the President of the USA actually makes those kinds of decisions do you? Politicians and political parties get into power through the funding of people and organisations with an agenda. Some of this funding is open, some of it not so open. These are the puppetmasters who reside in the shadows and pull the strings that shape the world. All in my opinon of course.

Don't know about the Illuminati but my old man used to be a member of the Water Buffaloes. My sisters used to laugh until he died and a member turned up at our house and paid off the mortgage and for the funeral!!!

Half an insult (childish indeed) and a double standard (I can dismiss your view but mine are childish). Nice. If the ORIGINAL POINT of the first post was about some great secret organisation/s running the world then perhaps you missed it? The US of A is pretty much the answer to your point and hence no secret nor running things on the quiet. That ANYONE can claim to be trying to make themselves look good, including myself by posting, by even half believing this load of old tripe about the Freemasons or any other secular group running the world... not that it actually matters and for you to then feel strongly enough that when I point out the blatantly obvious you call my reply childish is beyond words. Even the 'wise words bro'?? Why is saying that some odd percentage of 'the people' might twist words to suit themselves wise?? It's no more wise than me saying some clouds look like cars... it might be 0.9&, 9% or 90%. Feel free to read between the lines.

i like the idea of this stuff, because it makes people in countries that in the end allow em the freedom to do these theories,to try and then prove that the higher standard of living/freedom these 'shadowy' western/american/european 'conspirists' are achieving for them is EDIT:I WAS TRYING TO SAY IS GAINED BY BEING SO terrible.these things are as much to avoid global panic as to be evil imo. we have to suffer at some point for decisions made by politicians resulting in conflict, but we have it pretty good on the scale of things. its nice to be all about the people imo,but everybody isnt nice. EDIT AGAIN:THE REST IS HALF ARSED RAMBLING BUT I THINK IM TRYING TO GET AT THE FACT THE IDEOLOGY BEHIND THESE THEORIES AND STUFF IS GOOD NATURED,BUT PRETTY MUCH UNREALISTIC/HIPPOCRITICAL.
