Operation "Jog" is complete. Had a very tentative shuffle around the park much to the amusement of the locals. Actually went a lot better than I'd expected. I think my knees definitely preferred the new lighter jedi. I was planning just to do a mile to make a comeback but it went so well I did more like 2. I suppose that means I'll have to do it again though. jedi

More Full Body Workout fun tonight but have come to state, in public, that if I don't at least make an attempt at chins tonight then I am a bigger chicken than Foghorn Leghorn. "Boy I say boy I ain't no chicken ....this here's one hunned per cent genyoooine rooster...gotta, get yo' nose outta them long-haired books boy...(sotto voce) good boy, but he keeps talkin' when Ah'm interruptin'..." jedi

ORIGINAL: kendod666 lmao at foghorn mate! You notice I have joined you on the jogging mate? I see that nowadays when taking up this recreational pastime it is also necessary to develop a "Shane Williams" standard side-step for emergency dog-sh*t avoidance. jedi

Yesterday's FBW Steep incline sit-ups: 40 Wide-grip Chins: 5 4 Lat-pulldowns: pin7 x 10 pin8 x 10 pin7 x 10 Incline bench: 50kg x 10 50kg x 10 50kg x 10 Leg Press: 150kg x 10 150kg x 10 150kg x 10 Shoulders: 8kg x 10 lat raise 8kg x 10 front raise 20kg x 10 rear shrugs Dips: BW x 7 BW x 6 Tricep pull down: pin8 x 10 pin9 x 10 pin9 x 10 Dumbbell Curl: 10kg x 20 10kg x 15 10kg x 10 Deadlift: 60kg x 15 (I won't say I couldn't do 20 more that I didn't want to ...which is worse) Well had a go at the chins and ruined my theory that being 2 stone lighter would make them "A piece of p*ss". Wrong. Was pleased with the curls and will probably go heavier next time. jedi

Apparently they humble you no matter how weak you are too. I will be eating a twice weekly dose of humble pie for the foreseeable as they are now included in my FBW. Will be interesting to see if I can add 1 rep per workout which is what I am aiming for. jedi

Foghorn is also pretty good on the bench press thanx to his huge pectorals which you must never refer to as breast. He, he really doesn't like that. jedi

ORIGINAL: Rusev i know its a bit late mate but happy star wars day may 4th ......be with you Awesome numbers on the Oly lifts there mate. Can't even imagine what it must feel like holding 160kg overhead. In fact the more I think about it the more I really don't fancy the idea. You sure Scotty isn't helping out with a little tractor-beam action? sn 145k cl+Jk 170k front squat 185k Bk sq 205 DL 205 Bch press 0.00 At least I can claim to beat your bench-press numbers Just. jedi

ORIGINAL: kendod666 hows the diet mate? what's an average day for you look like? A typical day such as today would be. 0900 Oat flakes half-fat milk. Omega oil. Orange Juice. 1200 Chicken breast Couscous Carrots Peas 1500 Yoghurt. Fruit. 1800 As 1200 (I usually cook enough at lunch and then reheat) 2100 As 0900 That's pretty much it. Variety is not the spice of life at the minute. Can honestly say I am not missing the potatoes or bread at mealtimes but do find I get cravings at points through the day. I am not in a competition or anything though so am fairly relaxed with myself if I have to pop a few pringles or perhaps the odd muesli bar or something. I have been cooking up my own flapjacks using oats, olive oil spread and honey with dried cranberries and these are also a good stopgap ...when I get round to making them. jedi

Scotty with his tractor beam very good. im not conpeting until december on oly lifting so doing general alround at moment started doing dumbbell bench so you better watch out as a rule when in serious competition doing bench tightens up my shoulders for snatch

ORIGINAL: Rusev ..started doing dumbbell bench so you better watch out As long as I continue to compare my BB bench with your DB (singular) I might be okay jedi Top marks for knowing how to spell dumbbell, thereby showing that you are not one.

Oh b*gger. First time I have twinged the op. site since being back. Adding just 10 more sit-ups seems to be the culprit and am now left wondering if it is just a tweak of scar tissue or I have done something "medical". Eagle eyed scientists will note that this occurred at the start of the workout and that the subject did not say "Tsk", sensibly pack his bag and make for home. Rather, he seems to have completed a full body workout afterwards. What a genius. Steep incline sit-ups: 50 (Owie Ow!) Wide-grip Chins: 7 6 (bit more like it) Lat-pulldowns: pin8 x 10 pin8 x 10 pin8 x 10 Flat bench: 60kg x 12 60kg x 10 60kg x 10 Leg Extension: pin4 x 10 pin4 x 10 pin4 x 10 Shoulders: 8kg x 10 lat raise 8kg x 10 front raise 20kg x 10 rear shrugs Dips: BW x 9 BW x 8 Tricep pull down: pin8 x 10 pin9 x 10 pin9 x 10 Dumbbell Curl: 10kg x 20 10kg x 15 10kg x 12 Deadlift: 60kg x 20 (that probably helped no end ....berk) Also took some pics before I went, may post tomorrow. Hopefully. jedi

14'2lb (taken around Xmas) 12'3lb now with added battle damage (2 weeks back into training) Standing relaxed no tensing in either pic. Ah well something to build on we'll see what I look like in a few weeks. Still feeling very sore after yesterday's sit-ups debacle. Think I may have torn a muscle around the scar. Idiot. jedi

Was in some serious agony yesterday and really thought I had done some hernia type damage, or maybe split the wound under my scar. It still hurts today but maybe not as much so think it is probably just slight muscle tear near the op. Could have done without it but there we go, can't make an omlette without breaking eggs. ...and at least I didn't break those. Looks as though I will have to miss training tonight though. jedi
