I have actually hit 160kgs before, but never got near it again, and I mean nowhere near it. Not sure what went on, I think when I did the 160 I twinged my back and then lost all drive to push on and ended up going backwards.
 
I must admit since I have started to use a belt I feel it gives me alot more confidence back wise. Very pleased with the Phillipi way of things mate, will look to doing it on squats next.

                3+km walk to work this morning at a brisk pace = the cardio, same at hometime aswell, but more uphill.


                When it starts to get easy, do what i did and throw some weight in a backpack. This exercise i credit as my biggest aid to my cut last summer mate.


                GOALS:

                272.5kg DEAD (CURRENT 265kg)

                227.5kg SQUAT (CURRENT 200kg)

                160kg BENCH (CURRENT 135kg)

                136kg OVERHEAD (CURRENT 119.5kg)

                  Yea, I'm gonna keep walking to & from work as much as possible and cut one of the gym cardio days down. Getting up at 05:30 5 days a week is killing me

                    Deep nights sleep last night, kids disturbed a couple of times but settled quickly which was good.
                     
                    Wasn't that cold when I got out at 05:30, and was eager to get on with the training!

                    First time ever I have done these and wow didn't realise how effective they are, really felt my whole core working. Very enjoyable!

                    30min SSCV X-COUNTRY TREADMILL
                     
                    Got about half way through the cardio and my core temperature went through the roof, felt like I was melting. First time that has ever happened.

                        You do get used to the weight in the crook of your arm, I promise you. 145kgs does start to pinch a little though. There is a guy on Sugden who has managed a <200kgs Zercher! Very impressive!
                         
                        Sterling effort though dude, been a good week. I expect an enjoyable weekend will be had and get some rest ready to smash it next week!

                          Really have enjoyed this week, I think taking the pressure of the weight loss away has helped boost me along, clothe size is dropping, belt needs ANOTHER notch in it so it must be working and those damned scales can GTFO

                                        Was feeling quite sore from yesterdays training when I woke up, a few painkillers necked and off I went, had to to at work for 7(more of this later).

                                        I am afraid my challenge for the SUC is gonna have to end, one of the shift clerks at work walked out the other day and has pretty much stitched us up, I'm having to work near constant 7 to 17:30hrs shift for the next several weeks and it's gonna make commiting to the SUC extremley difficult. The other thing is the extra money it's costing us for my diet, it's made things tighter financially for the whole family which I'm not happy about. I will keep training at least 4 days a week, maybe 5 if I'm not too tired, and I will get the weight I need off!!
