i got mayonnaise in my eye once and it went nasty for 3-4 days , it looked the the outer layer of the eye went wrinkly and blistery when i pushed it with my finger (finger pushing the skin around the socket not right on the eye) and a nice thick film of clear mucus, so glad i wasnt in work for a week.

Any chemicals in the eye i would seek medical advise as some nasties that maybe in the product that could cause long term damage and that bathing the eye will not rid
