Kudos on getting the picture up, I should also follow suit and post a couple up too. I should think it would be great to get some other shots up for future comparisons/comparing side by side etc. My BF is in a similar neighborhood atm. Perhaps im holding a little more around the navel and less around arms, Im a classic pear thanks to my father. Cheers Dad ;D

Thanks Val, as said I'm far from happy with how I look but my body is doing a decent job of recovering with the PCT so I'll deal with the extra insulation for now lol Weekend was amazing and being the best man for my brother was one of the proudest days of my life. Although holding back the tears while making the speech was a big struggle, bloody clomid LOL!! The rest of the weekend has been a celebration and the Jagerbombs have been flowing. This was saturdays session and every rep was felt!! Shoulders/Triceps: Seated smith press 60kgx10,10,10,9 (up reps) Seated Side laterals 10kgx10,10,10,9 (up reps) Seated DB press 22.5kgx10,10,10,10 (better weight and reps) Standing front raise with a straight bar 20kgx10,10,10 (up reps) Straight bar cable press-down 60kgx10,10,10 Skull crushers 30kg (inc bar)x10,10,10,10 (lower weight but elbow and reps were better) Between bench dips BWx10,10,10 (slower than last time) Got legs today and am looking forward to it in a sick way!!!

Jaegerbombs!!! The last time I decided to go head to head with Jaegermeister was a works night out to the local seafront resort. The mix of the evening was Jaeger and Cherry Coke, AKA Rubbermiester! Very nice albeit lethal.... Your familiar with the term "Beer Scooter"? Well I had a "Jaeger Stag" that night!

Good workout there mate, bet your shoulders were blasted after that lot? How do you find training your tris after shoulders? Do you find 3 exercises is a struggle?

@Jedi, I couldn't help it mate. Told a few embarrassing stories about him and then just turned to him and told him I loved him and my eyes filled up. I held them back from dripping out though!!! The words MAN THE FOOK UP!!! Came to mind! @Valhalla, Jager is just awesome! I've converted most of Lucy's friends to it now. Although every text she got on sunday morning said "Tell John he's an evil man with the bombs!" LOL @Tuffy, session was murder but the hangover was self inflicted so have no sympathy!!!!!! I rarely get DOMS in my shoulders but they were a touch tight yesterday. I find doing tri's ok after, it's my left elbow that's still a touch weak so most of the tricep work is done with light-ish weight but perfect slow form. About to finish work soon as had to work my lunch for a rush job. All food was swapped round to suit and in the next few mins I'll be doing; Quads/Hams and calf’s: Leg extensions - 4 sets (15 reps on 60% max) Hack Squat - 4 sets Leg press - PScarb styleeeeee! Lying leg curl – 4 sets Stiff leg deads - with DB – 4 sets Seated Calf raise 5 sets of 20reps

Nice leg work. I hate doing leg ext. first but it makes a lot of sense in that you can go a bit heavier on that and although it burns like the fires of Hades it doesn't actually seem to stop you doing anything else. Come to think of it I hate finishing with leg ext. too. I just don't like leg ext.

I quite like them as my knees don't hurt with them and as you say they burn!!!!! Starting to really feel the extra weight now. Jeans are getting a lot tighter around the thighs and my fitness level is getting lower by the week. I'm about 15st 12lb now and know more is going to have to be added but do miss being lighter. Also finding it strange how doing things at work are taking their toll, just been luggin rails about. These are 60kg's each (don't tell H&S again though!!!!) and before holiday I was just about running about with them. Although picking them up is easier now that my strength is coming on I find myself out of breath far easier than before. God only knows how IB got upto 270+lbs and kept sane!!!!!????

Legs have tightened up mahoosively over night, not as painful as last time but they are a little tender to say the least. Got weighed again this morning (this isn't the start of an obsession again, I had to weigh my dog) and weight is still bang on 15st 10lb. I might have finally found maintainance cals, or rather Paul has. Biggest thing I've noticed is how I'm sleeping, I'm getting at least 8 hours a night and still needing more. Can't wait to get in gym later!

Good news re the weight. What's the thinking re 'maintenance' just to be in enough of a calorie surplus to make some lean gains? Or is it literally just preserving the status quo?

Not too sure tbh mate. From the amount I'm eating compared to what I used to eat I thought I'd be bangin weight on left right and centre. It's holding at this so I'm happy in that respect. Also strength is coming up so really can't grumble about it. The plan is up for review in a couple of weeks so we'll see what Paul says.

Chest and Bi's Pec deck 90kgx8,8,8,8 (up weight) Smith machine Incline press 75kg x8,7, 85kg x 4 Spat dummy out here!!! 45kg x failure (up weight) Flat DB press 35kg x 8,8,8,8 (up 5kg) Dips - BW x 8,8,8 (up reps) Seated incline DB curl 17.5kg x 8,8,8 (same) Standing BB curl - 35kgx8,8,8 (up weight) 30’s - with 25kg on cable (same) Strength on smith press was looking good until I just gassed out! I'm totally drained, even though I'm sleeping and eating more than ever??? Had the same cry baby tantrum as with deads the other week but managed to man up and stay in the gym as was very close to walking out and going to bed. Some progress was made and the numb feeling in my chest shows me I woked it well. Just mega p1ssed off at how weak I am!!!

RACK Some progress was made and the numb feeling in my chest shows me I woked it well. Just mega p1ssed off at how weak I am!!! Progress made but still upset? Progress is good regardless of past feats. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, telling yourself you are weak is just psychologically reinforcing a negative belief. ALWAYS focus on the positive! Always... I used to do Parkour/Freerunning for a couple of years. The lesser of the freerunning brood were the guys who generally had confidence issues, even in light of ALOT of athletic prowess. Too many times did I take a Traceur (A parkourist ) who struggled with a specific move or vault and change his relationship by spinning the move in a different light. Nothing but words and a little given confidence. Needless to say this done the trick. Some food for thought, Can you hark back to a time when you were in the gym and you were on fire? not literally, I mean say when you achieved a good lift which in turn, made the rest of your workout golden? I think we have all had one, in the zone if you will. Now think about the exact opposite where you had a few poor lifts from the outset and like a house of cards the whole workout toppled.. you most likely left witha bug up your ass and a pet lip to accompany. Just thinking about said times alters our emotions.. Try it on for size. Get your frame of mind golden and quality results will follow.
