Good session, some improvements on last week, extra 3 reps overall at 80kg. Other work felt good.
 
Was going to do the dead assistance after but so tired and couldn't be arsed so did some more pressing and delt work.

Double deadlift session tonight
 
Hard work, close to spewing on a couple of occasions, wont be doing it like this again.
 
Only an extra rep at 180, other work was all increased in weight. Have binned off the 1 1/4 rep deads in favour of normal tng work.

Love all that volume!

Looking at your vids, your pressing really has come on leaps and bounds. Almost flawless tech with the CGBP. Pushies look strong too.. Pretty rapid fire, almost cardio like. You could try slow each rep down slightly and take an extra half second/breath. And you don't even dip that low either.

Ta mate, happy with pressing at the moment, massive improvement with the increase in volume and frequency, just need it to transfer over to the strongman stuff.
 
I try and keep it quick as I cant support it on my upper chest so all the strain is on my arms/shoulders, I can get more reps out like this, slow it down and it just burns you out supporting the weight.

Bench and squat assistance
 
Good session tonight, full of energy, everything moved well and strength was really good. Paused CGBP 142.5 is a new pb, only a small one but a pb is a pb, he didn't touch the bar. Increased on the pause back work as well, these were really snappy tonight.
 
However, my hate hate relationship with front squats continues, strength is good, my gimpy grip is letting me down. 2 sets in and my grip just gave out at the start of the third set, heavy singles im ok with but any sort of rep work my grip is terrible, need to look at this and try to improve it. Had to drop the weight for the last 2 sets.

Ta mate, 2-3 weeks left, with the long esters about another 5-6 weeks total before things taper off.

Liking the higher rep stuff so will stick with that and see what it reaps in terms of strength gains.
