Training on gear ?
17 November 2009 12:02

I was always under the impression that when on a course of gear you could train like a bitch as recovery is at optimum(Androgens, protien syns etc). However ive been looking around the old tin ter net about this and there have been some interesting articles written by top pros. So heres a few questions:- When training at high intensity not only do we break down muscle we also break down are central nervous system. Muscle gets repaired quickly with roids, the nervous system does not. So if we hammer the training is it possible to over train on roids !!?? When I was "on" (not period) and training like a dog after the feel good vibe of the test a nervousness kicked in, could this be the over training and linked with the "symphatic" part of the nevous system, this controls the adrenal gland ! ?? How do you train on the gear ? Thoughts are appreciated !

My training is far more intense when on gear. WHen I do a really heavy session I am sometimes left quite shaky and I shudder a bit when I take a deep breath in!

Hey man, Your CNS (central nervous system) takes 24 hours to recover during HIT, so if you train mon, tue, wed your CNS has no time to recover so for maximum growth you will need to allow a 24 hour rest period from HIT other wise your almost wasting your time.... plus with all this damage to CNS an no recovery you will be putting your health at risk of infection , illness etc

I was going to actually post a thread similar to this today! I am almost at the end of my 12 week Test Eth Cycle and while my training has been intense and heavy, i am actually finding that this last week has been a struggle. I feel totally wrecked and i know my body well enough now to know its down to the amount of training ive been doing. Roids or no roids, when you add 40-50kgs to most of your lifts, thats bound to put a strain on your CNS. I am eating like a horse and drinking lots of fluids. For the first few weeks i was blasting away but i am definetly feeling the effects now of such hard training. I always train hard anyway, i am an i-pod guy, its me, the weights, and my music. I couldnt give a monkeys about anyone in the gym, i dont talk to anyone, i get in there and bust myself and go. I train like this on gear or not. And to be honest i didnt find myself anymore pumped up mentally when on them than when i was off. Its just class knowing that you can completely outlift your previous efforts, that i suppose is a great boost. But that comes at a price, i am certainly tired and fully looking forward to a week or 2 off training as soon as i complete my cycle (next week) and of course my PCT. Just feel like i need a good total rest! I been training flat out since July with no weeks off and the increase in weights ive been pumping lately has taken its toll. That said, ive gained tonnes and have put on alot of quality muscle! So its a price worth paying!
You must show no mercy.....nor have any belief whatsoever in how others judge u.......For your greatness shall silence them all.......
