RE: UFC 86 with SPOILERS - 08 July 2008 16:43

Firstly, I never called you an idiot nor did I say you don't have a clue about MMA. I thought someone with even a little fighting experience could appreciate what Machida does...obviously not. I'm not preaching either, merely questioning, you're just being defensive for whatever reason.

Secondly, I wouldn't call any fighter in the UFC boring as I can appreciate all styles, be it BJJ, Judo, Muay Thai, Karate...Machida does not run away he is an intelligent tactical fighter. Dana "fcuking" White hand picked him to take out Tito Ortiz.

MMA is not just about exciting fighters, it's a sport! Yes exciting fighters pull a crowd but so do the top ranked guys which funnily enough Machida is one of them. Perfect if you don't like him, tune in and hope he gets his ass kicked.

Obviously you're not a person open to debate which i'll note for future reference.

your post give the impression you was sayin i dont know nothing and im just a blood thirsty moron IMO maybe not as you say. i'll happyily debate over anything.

i do appreciate that yer the guy must have some skills to get where he is, and yer its tactical. but his tactics is just to blag a deccission IMO he came to fight in the sokoudjou fight, and he came out on top. the fight wasnt boring, why not fight that way all the time?

dana hand picked him IMO to make a crappy boring fight for titos leaving.

and yes he is number one contender and i will watch him fight just to see him lose, you cant run away forever! lol

The Rampage Forrest fight was excellent to watch

Same as most people, I had Forrest winning it by a couple of points

Nooooo rampage..... I loved that guy being UFC champ, good fight though forrest won on points fair enough, what's shelling about rampage he didnt back up his talk.

"I BET MY WHOLE PURSE OUR FIGHT DOSENT GOTO DECISION" lol

Lytle v Koscheck was mental, i like blood in atleast one fight on the ppv but that was to much chris couldn't do jack sh*t pinned down by the 42-0 strong ass wrestler, taking blows on his cuts was quite nasty....

Melvin Guillard he's quite scary sometimes his hand speed and power is fkin sick.

good event but nowhere near as good as ufc 84 recently.

Just watched the Rampage fight again, the first time I watched it I thought Griffin won easily but watching again it was much closer than I thought although Griffin probably did win. What I did not notice first time was how biased Joe Rogans commentary was. He never gave Rampage any credit and even when he was scoring big punches all Rogan was talking about was Griffins kick to Rampages knee. Anybody else notice this?

I'm glad forrest won and would like to see him defend his title against chuck. I think it would make a great showdown because now that forrest is the champ he will have to defend his title against the guy who was his original mentor and helped him win his contract with the ufc in the first place. Would be a war!

wasnt the greatest card ive seen ,but i really enjoyed the main event - however ,as soon as i saw the weigh inns i though ...eh up , rampers doesnt look anywhere near as meaty as befor, a little soft even.

he could easily have taken the descision though ,it was close.

Exactly my camps thoughts, a lot of the pride guys have gone this way; leading to accusations of steriods.

I dont understand why anyone who fought in Pride wouldnt take steroids.

Made up for Griffin, fought a very clever fight. FWIW i had him ahead 48 - 46.
