UKBFF BRITISH BODYFITNESS?? WHO'S YOUR PICK THIS YEAR??

Ok, so much gets said about the physique catagories but how about the bodyfitness class this year. Louise Rogers blew them away last year....but who will do it this year?

Notable absentees are Louise (Competing at worlds) and Clare Taubman (at worlds too). But this year will be amazingly competitive and a lot of the girls have made amazing improvements, and also a lot of new girls appearing out the shadows.

I'm obviously supporting Carly 100% as she's Team MT

Last year she looked brilliant, and if she's even slightly better than last year, and she will be considerably so, then she's going to be tough to beat.

Taking nothing away from the other girls, they are great too, but Carly has MT's full support.

....and so she should! Carly will be up there for sure......as will Karen, both class acts.......but who else could be in the frame??....anyone know of any dark horses out there who could shock us all??

I know Skyline gym has a competitor who is looking pretty fantastic.
Tasha Coppett is also looking good.

Lesley Rothera also had wonderful condition at portsmouth - and she's had an extra 6 months to make further improvements.

I know of some very good girls competiting this year but not yet competed at qualifiers yet... so only 1 or 2 can go through - so not completely sure (don't wanna name them yet lol).

I had actually favoured the woman that won the Scottish - but apparently she's opting out and competing with the BNBF.

Layla Doherty?? Yes she had a great look, shame she cant compete.....Wales has a couple of cracking girls, that could be interesting! They have an ever growing line up and only 1 or 2 will qualify.....so someone who deserved to be at the british may not get there!!!

Karen Norris is always there or there abouts too dont you think Lou? she could be a contender. And your right, the skyline girl who won the london looked pretty good.......posing was a little harsh though, if she polishes that up she could be in there....we'll see  

Ah yes Layla - wow what a lovely look she had. I was very impressed.

Karen Norris yes!!!!! Gosh, I didn't mean to miss her out. Every year i've seen her compete she looks lovely. She has beautiful symmetry.. I don't know what improvements she'll have made.

I am looking forward to the next lot of qualifiers. I have seen a few Welsh girls that look great.. I know of one in particular who looks lovely, but I just hope she can hold her look because she is extremely lean, if not too much for bodyfitness. But again.. this is all relative because the qualifier hasn't taken place yet lol!

It's going to be so competitive. I'm gutted I will miss it LOL

I would think Carly - or Lesley, it depends I guess on the look the judges are looking for... As always...

The routine will add something more interesting this year too...

Both good girls Flick.....Not sure if the routine is being judged to be honest.....I think its just for the night show and more of an evening performance with the judging already having been done.....perhaps someone knows??  

I don't think its all been confirmed about the routine yet.. But I did hear that it was just for the top 6. But that still means everyone needs to prepare a routine!

Will it be judged do you think Lou??......again, a bit strange seeing as no other country does this, just quarter turns, so for someone to maybe lose a show based on a routine that they will never do again seems a bit stupid to be honest....thats why I hope its just an evening filler!! 

I doubt it'll be judged.

And with regards to the "look" they will go for..

I actually consulted the federation about the look to go for as I originally was going for a softer look (last year).. But I was told that once you win the British - you don't go and compete in the states - you go to the worlds & europeans, and you need to compete for the look awarded there. So I guess that's what I tried to do!

I have met pro figure girls in LA and they come in fairly hard looking compared to NPC amateur figure girls..

I dont know what will happen this year.. but I imagine it'll follow the same sort of criteria.

Thats interesting....Hope they do go for the same look as yourself Louise, thats what we need to do well at the europeans and/or worlds...good luck by the way.

Oooooer, go on someone please, if you think Layla is in with a chance persuade her then it's one less for me to battle against in the BNBF LOL......this is what frustrates me. Shede could do well in both feds but has to make a choice....doesn't always work out in the favour of the dictator.

I don't follow body fitness much but certainly Lou and Carly have brought the class more publicity and are fabulous representatives. Good luck to all this year!

hi not written anything on here for some while.  But thought I would to this section this time.
 
If the london show is the one that was held in Hayes on the 10th of the May, all three ladies that competed on the day trains at yorky's gym in battersea (owned by pro-bodybuilder Mark Krah) and is trained by myself under the guideness of Mark.
 
I am the lady that won miss hercules 2008, mark prep me for all my shows.

ladies if its not the hayes show that 'bodybuilt' is refering to then my sincere apologises.
