UKBFF Finals 2009 - LIVE report play by play - 17th-18th October

I have just spoken to Alvin and my incorrect reporting of his retirement earlier has caused him a number of problems.  I heard something which I took to be true information and reported it.  This is very poor journalism on my part and, once again, I apologise to Alvin and his partner.

We look forward to seeing alot more of you (in both appearances and muscle mass!) in the future, Alvin.  Like I said before, you're a great guy and am a great ambassedor for UK bodybuilding.

Great to hear that Alvin has not hung up the trunks.

Great professional posts from Shaun and Daz.  Glad the thread was a success and people enjoyed it.  It was hard work, hot,  and long days but definately worth it (sure IB will agree with that).

Didn't get a chance in the day to chat to anyone but did see a few people.  Kitty looking great!

great news that alvin hasnt retired.

james, im sure the problems it caused werent too serious, i would guess just sponsors moaning.  The sign of a true professional is holding your hands up and apologising for getting something wrong, which you have done.

Just want to say a big thank you to the well wishes, supporters and judges (lets face it they usually get a hard time) for a great weekend, it was great to grab top spot and Brandon gave me a good run for my money over the 2 days
Hopefully I showed that you shouldnt underestimate a lightweight. I was very happy with my size and condition and can only improve on this going into the IFBB worlds in a couple of weeks

I would just like to say a big well done to team muscle talk, from the people who were running on the streets to the people in the venue to the people in the hotel and to all the competitors who did a great job and made team muscle talk proud.
