MuscleTalk Pre-2011 UKBFF Finals Interview with John Trilizas
John also works in the MuscleTalk HQ helping to make things function behind the scenes.  He is also in the inters under 80kg against his workmate Lambo!
 
JC:  How’s the prep going for the Finals next week?
JT:  My prep has been going really well.
 
JC: Which category are you competing in and what show and when did you qualify for the Finals?
JT: I am competing in the intermediates under 80kg. I qualifed for the Finals after wining my class at the Leicester qualifer. 
 
JC: Do you feel you’ve improved since your qualifier and in what way?
JT: I feel I have improved alot since the qualifer especially in my hamstings and quads and my conditioning has improved.
 
JC: Who do you feel will be your toughest competition in your category and why?
JT: To be honest i dont really worry about anyone else as you can only control how you look having said that i am sure the other competitors will be of a high standard.
 
JC:  What will you be doing to bring your best package onto the stage?
JT: To bring my best pakage to the stage i have put my all in to my prep by not missing a cardio session a weight session and getting all my meals in on time.
 
JC: What’s your competitive background in bodybuilding?
JT: 2010 North Staffs 2^nd place First timers, 2010 Mr Northants 1^st place Novice and 2^nd place in the overall
2011 UKBFF East of England qualifer 1^st place inters under 80kg
 
JC:  Do you have a goal for your positioning this weekend?
JT: My goal is to make it through to the Sunday and see what happens from there.
 
JC: Who’ll be there supporting you?
JT: My Girlfriend and my friends will be there to cheer me on.

Should be a great showing from Team Muscletalk. Feeling very privileged to be attending the show and reporting on some awesome physiques
 

I've spoken to some of the guys today and most of them are ready and waiting.  A couple have a bit to lose yet to make their weights.
 
We're off to Nottingham in a min, so I'll post later of what's going on.

Just at Edinburgh Airport looking forward to my flight down to Birmingham then a nip across in the train to Nottingham.
 
Things are getting exciting, cant wait for tomorrow!!

After a Plane and 3 Trains I am finally here.
 
Have already seen a few competitors checking in. Lots of drawn in expressions.
 
This weekend's going to be a great show!

Just back from meeting Hazel and James. All set and ready for the day ahead tomorrow. I've been prepped with whats needed and what to expect.
 
Met Aaron Hallett and Luke Bagster, team muscletalk competitors. Both seem a little tired but positive and up beat. Looking forward to seeing them both up on stage tomorrow battling it out.

I did a couple of interviews with Giles Thomans of Muscular Development last night, one with Luke Bagster and one with Neil Hill discussing our predictions.  I'll get the links up when I have them

Morning, I'm sure there will be alot of thirsty, hungry and nervous individuals waking up in Nottingham this morning. We are only 1.5hrs away from the start of pre-judging.
 
Whats your predictions on who's going to win what class and who's everyones favorite to win the overall?
 
 

Just arrived at the Nottingham Concert Hall getting all set up and fingers crossed the internet connection is working :-). Lighting checks and stage set up just finishing off.
 
Bumped into James, John Trilizas and Aaron Hallett. Tans are looking great and all set. Both have made there weight categories which is great!

The concert Hall is heating up with all spectators arriving. Spoken to Aaron Hallett again. He managed to make his weight category, just, 89.4kg. He seems more relaxed now and ready to get on stage.

wow first impressions excellent, lean, wide and cut, tan a slight let down needs more
 
2 – Daniel Mehmood
slight build, big calves, legs good
 
3 – Michael Dickson
will be difficult to place in this line up
 
4 – Jamie Darling
upper body impressive, legs lacking
 
5 – Ashton Price
big but condition not spot on, back impressive, high lat insertion
 
6 – Tarek Ayoubi
legs good but again condition just not quite on
 
7 – Eddie Drummond
condition ok, soft from the back, legs cut
 
8 – Aly Mustafa
good shoulders, legs down on upper body, will struggle in this tough class
 
9 – Chris Hayes
tall competitor,
 
10 – Corey Barrett
well proportioned, wide shoulders, cut legs, good and could make the top 10
 
11 – Lewis Clarke
another stand out of the class, good condition and size, well proportioned, tight waist, intercostals impressive, hams soft
 
12 – Robert Plant
good condition and symmetry, could make top 6
 
13 – Daniel Harvey
big and thick but condition letting him down
