And that's only in their commercial setting.... they were in use many years before that.

wether they actually 'work' or not, i have seen with my own eyes some people start to get results where normal training has failed. it may be entirely placebo effect, and its the 'buy in' thats getting them to work harder, but like all these things, does it actually matter if they are happy and get results?

dazc quick guess, you work for power plate?? lol I wished, I might be able to afford one then. Sadly not. You can get cheap plates that do vibrate: Power Maxx / Nordic Track and a few others but you have to dig deep sometimes to find out how they vibtrate because they don't always make tthat information so easy to find. Power Maxx do one but if your not petit they can seem a bit small to do certain exercises on. Aparently where as normal weight training stimulates around 50% of the muscles capabilty, add to this a vibration trainer and this can be as musch 90/100% of stimulation the correct muscles in the correct firing sequence. The science is fascinating if your interested in exactly how it stimulates the muscles and why it works. I'll post it if I'm allowed but my brain has a tendency to waffle. Add to that dyslexia and it could be a challenging read.
