Views on 8 week cut ? 24 January 2012 14:53 (permalink)
Hi.
Haven't posted on here for a while but often visit MT for info, and I'm now looking for some critique on my diet.
I've been training pretty consistantly for the past 7 years and currently @ 70kg, 10% BF, Height just under 5ft 7"
I've previously peaked at 75kg lean mass but after a little lay off last year I dropped 5kg and I've since been maintaining this with a 60/30/20 macro split, taking in about 3000 kcal/day (I stay pretty lean all year round)
So goal now is to get as lean as I can over the next 8 weeks, before my holiday

Diet looks like this ..

Meal 1: Oats, Milk, Flax, Glutamine, Vit C, Vit B
Meal 2: Eggs, Toast, Fruit Juice
Meal 3: Rice or Sweet Potatoe, Tuna or Chicken, Omegas, Fruit
Meal 4: Protein Blend, Flax (If pre afternoon workout I also add a scoop of oats)
Meal 5: Fruit, 40g Nuts (if post workout I replace nuts for whey protien shake)
Meal 6: Lean Meat, Veggies or large Salad
Meal 7: Low fat Yogurt, Glutamine (plus 1 piece fruit if still hungry)

Totals look like: 155gCHO (30%) / 225gPRT (50%) / 90gFAT (20%) / >2500 kcal
So carbs are consumed AM, only consuming a minimal amount in the PM through fruits or veggies
Any decent advice will be much appreciated please !!

    Hi there
It sounds like you're already pretty lean.
Diet seems ok, but hard to judge properly without portion sizes.  If you include cardio and your portions are correct, you should get results
