Visual disturbance during exercise. - 19 November 2009 12:23 ( #1 )
After starting training again after a few years off ive noticed that near the end of the gym session im getting whirls in my eyes is best i can describe it.
Im not doing cardio as im trying to put on weight and my resting bp is fine.

These wirls are when i stop training which is earlier than i would like.

Any ideas?? I normaly eat an hour before the session.

Thanks
Dave

Possibly trying too hard mate, exurting yourself too much can bring this on (so can not eating enough to fuel your workout)
Imo lower your intencity for a short time and see if it reocours?
out of the darkness and into the light, thats why im still here and willing to fight!

As for the headache James. I get migraine and it is a similar aura but without the headache.

I get fed up with it everytime i train though as it makes me think its a migraine coming and panics me.

I have migraines very rarely (about twice a year) with aura and headache. When I described getting an aura without headache to my GP I was told that it is still a migraine.
This headache-free migraine only happens when I am overtired. The first time it happened, to me, about 30 years ago, I had been working for 32 hours non-stop and then went to play badminton. I had to stop playing when all my central vision started to blur. I no longer exercise when I'm tired. I only train in the morning before work.
