V-Sits using a plate or medicine ball. That's the exercise my clients hate the most anyway! I don't actually train my Abs - I tend to find if I keep my core engaged enough it seems to be enough to bring them through.

I think heavy squats work my abs/ core the most, but if it's an actual abs exercise your asking about, I enjoy the challenge of Pikes with my feet on the stability ball

Pikes on a stability ball is excellent for advanced trainers and something to work toward for beginners

Knee tucks are a great start for beginners, they can then progress to pikes on the ball if their wrists can handle the bodyweight and quads can handle the burn from the top position!

Try knee with suspension trainers, my customers hate those Personally I like hanging leg raises, probably cos I'm the only one who does them in my gym everyone else uses their forearms to rest on.

Straight forward Pilates exercises - as I am limited to what I can do with abs.

Jack knives on swiss ball, think I've never seen anyone else do them but me. Hanging oblique side-raises. Knees ins that can be done anywhere. I do also use planks occasionally but believe when I use swimming for cardio (which is twice a week hopefully) I'm in a constant plank position.
