Gym was super humid, everything was wet and slippery, metal plates slid like the puck on air hockey tables

Shouldered 195lbs keg twice

Axle Deadlift (no belt)

Tire Flips

700 lbs tire, maybe 10 total reps - very hard when there's no friction between your shoes and the floor

          Bodyweight: 178lbs. I've to be 175 for a strongman comp in 2 weeks. No early weigh ins so I'm going to have to actually lose 3lbs, but that couldn't be easier. Events are in my favor and I feel I'm going to rock.

          1x6 @ 177lbs <-- PB! (60 sec limit)

          Thick handle trap bar deadlifts

            I'm down to 175lbs. I'm not going to lose any more. Maybe start gaining soon. Not doing that strongman comp :(, was going to register day of but it was unusually popular.

              Doing a crossfit competition in a month. Been doing a lot of conditioning, bw exercises, jump ropes, boxing etc last few months and so I thought I'd give it a shot.

              still 175lbs/79.5kg bw

              Yesterday:


              ATG Front Squats
              (I don't know.. I think I'm in love with them)
              5x5 @ 225lbs (easy)

              1 Arm BW hangs (pullup position)
              5 sec each arm (back and forth between arms, no touch with ground for about 10 times)

              BTN Strict Axle Press (awkward)
              2x5 @ 40kg
              1x2 @ 60kg
              2x1 @ 80kg
              3x4 @ 60kg (In front of neck; strict)
              1x10 @ 60kg (right after the last next; with leg drive)

              1 Arm 3" DB Press
              1x3 @ 75lbs (each arm)
              1x6 @ 95lbs (R,L,R,L,R,L)
              1x1 @ 112lbs (each arm)
              2x1 @ 120lbs (both right arm)
              2x0 @ 120lbs (both fails left arm, but close-couldn't balance it well and missed lockouts)

                      I'm planning on putting up vids when I'm reasonably stronger. Am planning on doing a log session and thick dumbell press on christmas day so am thinking of recording that just for the laughs really.

                        Yeah, dude, do it! I always find myself performing 110% in front of a camera or an audience, i.e. few weeks ago gym owner pulled out his cam and I managed to squeeze out 3 extra reps on the log C&P compared to the prior set, which was max effort, of 3 and a failed 4th rep.

                            BIG ****ING NEWS that I'm swimming in the heavens over. I found out my home scale shows 7lbs too much.  That means I'm actually 167lbs instead of 174. I weighed myself at the gym today, and thought wtf?! I scaled a 45lb plate just to make sure it was right... and it sure was. Went home and weighed myself, 174, so that confirmed my theory. That makes my lifts that much more impressive... WOW, YIPPEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!


                            Today's training:


                            36lbs Kettlebell Swings (no rest between sets)
                            16 each hand
                            12 each hand
                            8 each hand

                            Pull up mix
                            Set1: 10 pull ups, hang on 1 hand for 10 sec, the other for 10 sec, repeat 3 times without letting go off the bar, then hanging for 1 minute afterwards doing some leg raises.
                            Set2: Same thing but for 2 rounds instead of 3

                            Squats:
                            85kg x 40 <-- Nice.

                                    Yeah, but it has much more strongman stuff to it that usually. Events include series heavy DB presses (heaviest going up to 110 for my new weight class - so I'll rock it), tire flipping, not-that-heavy squats for reps (like I did today - see above post), and then some pull up burpee combos for time... some other stuff I forgot but you get the idea
