Count me in for the bodybionic meet! Hollie and I have been emailing about meeting up there to train and have a coffee after. The more the merrier!

hi jen. I hope you didnt think you HAD to eat meat to compete? I used to compete and won the UK fitness title in 2005 as a vegetarian Jodie march is also vegetarian and ate a contest diet similar to mine!

well done  on your progress anyway and good luck!

Hi, and thanks for the welcome

I've been umm-ing and arrr-ing about eating meat for a while so deciding to go for it wasn't souly based on competing. I was struggling to get my protein levels up high enough though. At the same time, i've only been veggie for a year and a half, so changing back wasn't as big a change as most.
But it's great to know that you can still compete to a high standard as a veggie. out of interest, what sources did you rely on for your protein levels?

      Jen x

Thanks! I've got the quote, along with the date of my first Channel swim, on my hip, just under where the line of my swimming cossie would be if I ever went swimming any more haha!

I don't think you get marked down for tattoos, certainly I've never seen anything in the rules about them and plenty of competitors have lots or very large ones. The tan does a pretty good job of covering them up anyway!
