Warmachine vs Sexton this Friday

I watched the fight but had the sound down so didnt hear the commotion over the result. I had Sexton winning on  points and just assumed that like a world title fight if it  was stopped by an accidental clash of heads after 4 rounds had been completed then it would go to the judges' scorecrads. I take it th eref was the only one scoring the fight? Personally I couldnt see why the fight had to be stopped as the blood wasnt running into Sexton's eyes. Furthermore his corner didnt seem to be that intent on stopping it bleed- why did they not apply any vaseline?
 
I thought Larry looked a lot let heavy than any other time I have seen him fight. He also looks to have drastically improved his technique and Sam Sexton is a good fighter. He made the fight competetive. Seems to panic a bit when he gets tagged and lacks a bit of confidence, but coming into the sport at a later age I don't think you could expect anything more.
