Weight loss without losing muscle mass. 17 January 2012 15:55 (permalink)
I am 16 1/2 stone and 5ft 8" am just finishing my first aas cycle and have a little bit more bodyfat than i would like (had it before but lost a nice bit during cycle)

I am eating around 3500 calories a day but have never done any cardio so need to start.
I dont go gym i train in my garage so i guess im going to have to go running?

How often should  i go? I want to lose as less muscle mass as possible.

Cheers

Alex

at that weight I wouldn't run to be honest. Go for a brisk walk, 30mins-60mins 3 times a week to start off and see how this affects your bodyfat levels. On non weights days eat fewer carbs and keep the diet as clean as possible. Its hard to say without pics or more info what youe "lean body weight" should be, however if you are wanting to cut without dropping muscle then pop into the dave palumbo keto diet thread and have a read.

I can testify for aas users or natty (bodybuilders or just regular non gym goers) that the results are mind blowing mate.

    all the best

likewise. Plus when I keep carbs low or virtually nil I get no pumps, loads of energy and the fat falls off like you wouldn't belive. Its also easier than running lol!!
