Western Gourmet

Thinking of trying this company - however I would have to have it delivered to my concierge where it wont be stored in a fridge untill I get back from the office at 5.30 ish. Is the packaging sufficient for this or would I be coming home to rotting meat?

Depends on the room temp and when it's delivered. I wouldn't risk it if I were you, regardless of how it's packed.

Clearly never used them before.  I've had a delivery outside my house for more than 12hrs and the frozen products were still solid.  Exceptionally good packaging.   Also depends on when it's delivered?  Why?

Have a look at Muscle Food - it's more specific to bodybuilding and therefore better prices.

Yep, the prices do alter slightly however.

Because if it's delivered at 9am it will be sat there for 8.5 hours, if delivered at 4:30pm it will be 1hour. And no, I haven't used them so my opinion is not based on experience with them. I would not be happy to leave chilled meat in a hot area for a whole day is all I'm saying.

Clearly didn't read my post.   And basing your comments and "advice" on nothing.  Nice.  You should post in the supplement section, would fit right in!  ;)

I did read your post, and my statement still stands. I would not want fresh meat stored in a hot room all day. The OP can make a decision based on the advice of people who have used this company and that's cool, I've had food poisoning from meat that was on the turn and maybe I'm overcautious, but that's me.

The packaging is made up of an insulated box and ice packs. With the box fully sealed, it should be fine.

Not sure what you're ordering but MuscleFood CONTINUALLY deliver their 5kg chicken boxes on top of each other despite many complaints about the film on the bottom box bursting under the weight of the top one. Happened to me 3 times before! Won't be happening again. Lesson eventually learnt lol.
Discount code "HIGHPROTEIN" with WestinGourmet brings 10kgs (must order 2 x 5kgs for the code to work) of chicken breasts down to £55.03p delivered. MuscleFood is £54.45p for 10kgs chicken breasts but with a good chance of arriving open .
