well we were cuttin it fine with that proposed one (as good as it looks) so we did the first upper session of his anti bodybuilding hypertrophy system.. its very basic, so i aded in 2 exercises. but basically it goes. bench- 10x3 BB rows- 10x3 and i added in standing DB press- 5x5 EZ curls- 3x10 it went down like this.. bench- 160x3*2 150x3*8 lying chest supported BB rows- 110kx3*10 Standing DB press- wasnt sure what i could press in DB's 32x5 36x5 38x5 40x5 *2--- will start there if do this again. EZ curls- 60kx10*2 60kx8 really was a great session. happy wi the weights cos i havent been feelin too great over last few days, but i loved the set up of this.. very simple but definately effective.. got a great pump too.. u wouldnt think u would with the low reps, but doin that many sets of them really fills ur muscles out.. obviously it has got my upper/ lower split head thinkin about switchin over to it... haha.. but we'll see.. :-)

Nice benching there mate, seriously. I will say though add in some lower weight higher reps at the end, these will cause some serious growth. Looking forward to seeing you again in July, I should be well over 16stone by then, will hopefully keep up with you with how many girls chat us up haha. We'll have to get a clicker and click each time a girl touches our arm. If we turn it into a game we won't get angry and have a one hour bitch like we did in Birmingham haha

40k standing db is yet another annoyingly good lift. Iirc my pb is the 30's for similar reps. Have you thought about getting back into cricket , I wish you would...
No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH - drab4

haha @ pagan.. in all honesty i may play a couple games this summer, but me and cricket have parted ways somewhat.. shame as i really was very close to bein a pro, but it wasnt to be.. the session was a v good one, can see it bein a very good routine for strength and mass.. even with the low reps i got a v good pump, must be the constant heavy load.. i think i'll get 42's-44's overhead if i do them again.. was just a tad strange as im used to BB overhead pressin.. firestorm- in all honesty mate the low reps x 10 sets seriously felt enough.. was strannge as wasnt expectin it t feel like it did, but was very good.. i liked the simplicity of it too.. as for goin out in july. yeh definately lookin forward to it fella..and as for women- well i went out last night as exams finished yesterday ( yaaaayyyyyy) and i met a lass, went back t her mates with her, think ive fallen in love!! haha... only messin, but she was awesome tho, think she's comin round tonight.. (i hope..)..;-) will be goin gym tomorro instead of today, not ideal, but ihad t go out really, probably last chance i'll get wi my coursemates this yr..

I think I seriously need to address what I do in the gym. I love my training but for the years I've put in, the drugs I have used and the dedication I feel I have displayed I should have a lot more showing for my efforts. Granted I have no real 'gift' being naturally lanky and scrawny but even so.... Even today, some one put up a 105 OHP... He's a cool guy, on cycle, and reasonably strong (evidently) but never really lifts anything that catches your eye yet he can waltz up and put 105 over his head and I'm struggling at 20kg lighter. Not to mention my bench now dropping back to 120 (only 10kg up on last year pre 1g test FFS) I'm doing something wrong which I need to address!

if the strength aspect is becomin more and more important mate why not look into makin it more 'strength specific'..?? evidently i have no real direction as i go thru fits and bursts of wantin to follow strangth style full body routines, or upper lower splits, or normal split with higher volume etc.. i get so bored with things very quickly and i know that this is holdin me back on some potential progress i could be makin as i never really stick with 1 routine.. i know im gonna igve this one a try very soon, i've already admitted to myself that i like it and wanna give it a bash.. knowing me tho, 6 wks in and i'll want t change it up again.. cant help myself.. :-(

It's not becoming more important, I'm still far more physique orientated (but even there, I've been within the 16-17st bracket for years now. Granted my condition has improved but I should be getting more from it all.) however, strength progression and still been wanting somewhat and I should be lifting more than I am. I am probably one of the weakest for my size that I know (which gets more depressing when you think how long I've been doing it and what I use) I think I may be having a bad PCT day LOL

probably was bad pct day mate.. sayin that tho, i get like that every now and again too. i know i havent trained as long as u.. but i see guys int he uni gym, who maybe cant lift what i can, but it bugs me as they look much bigger, and sometimes are bigger.. but i guess u never know what someone has taken or what they do behind closed doors so its just best t focus on u mate.. dont worry about how much guy x is lifting, or how big this other guy is.. its somethin i need t stop doin too.. i go to the gym for me, and no one else.. so last wk was once again a bit hit and miss.. pretty busy wi uni, and end of yr celebrations etc.. kinda beginnin t think that towards the end of my 2nd yr at uni wasnt the best time t start my first cycle, hoiwever i am still fairly happy with the progress.. but its a time when i am constantly skint, there's loads of parties and end of yr celebration nights out, plus exams, so lots of all night work, diet gettin messed around now and again.. i definately havent taken full advantage of bein on cycle and i fully recognise that.. but the big positive i am takin from the cycle so far is that i have dropped BF yet my strngth has increased very nicely.. after this wk i'll prob be lookin as big as i was at my biggest durin the cycle, but feelin a bit flat at the mo due to not as much food bein eaten, and opnly trainin trwice last w.. i thinkfrom now on cycles will take place between september, and say march.. and im thinkin of stickin with 8 wk cycles, so next one will probably be either, 1-8 wks- sust 500mg, 1-8 wks- tbol 60-80mg a wk or 1-8wks- prop 350-500mg a wk 1-8 tbol at 60-80.. this would allow the whole thing to be wrapped up in around 12 wks.. whereas this one will total around18-19 wks includin pct... its a bit long with other things considering.. id rather make sure i can nail a shorter period non stop, with no interruption etc, than have a v good few wks, then a dodgy wk, then another v good few wks etc etc over a longer period as has happened this time around. as for my training... i think i may have to just givin in to the fact that i will constantly change my mind.. its my nature to do so in day to day life, i dont see how it could be any different in my trainin too.. i should look at it like, if i continue on a routine which i am bored with and thinkin about other routines, then i probably wouldnt be gettin the most from the sessions if my head isnt 100% in it.. i know it may hinder progress, but as long as i am training hard and heavy and eating correctly then gains will always come! :-) so, WHEN the inevitable change happens, my routine will look somehtin like, monday- bench- 10x3, followed by 1x failure (12-15) hammer strength chest press chest supported row- 10x3, followed by 1x failure (12-15) seated row standing DB OHP- 5x5 EZ curls- 3x10 weds- front squats- 5x10 ham curls- 5x10 standing calf raise- 5x10 hangin leg raise- 5x10 thurs- dips- 5x10 chins- 5x10 DB clean and palms facing press- 5x10 reverse grip pusdowns/ skulls- 3x10 saturday- DEADLIFTS!!!- 10x3, followed by hyperextensions 1xfailure box steps/ lunges- 10x3 BB shrugs- 5x5 calf raise- 3x10 that will be the basic platform for it. i wil also swap the 10x3 days over every 3-4 wks, so the 2 middle days wil then become the 10x3 days, however they will be on the days that the current 10x3 days are on, mon and sat.. so there.. i felt i needed to 'vent' slightly today, its almost like an end of cycle review, however i still have a few wks left.. just had a lot t talk about and i hope i havent bored to many of u with it.. :-)

im about 9 wks in i think now mate.. but i increased dose so i have just ordered another 5 amps, to add to my last one, which i take every 5 days, so had 1 amp today, another will be had on saturday, then 5 more after that with 5 day gaps.. so its lookin around another 3-4 wks left probably.. cycle will be a little longer than first planned i think, but wanted to increase the dose and take advantage as i left it til latter half of the cycle to increase it..should be fine tho, feelin very fresh and me balls are feelin fine!! :-)sex drive is still up and running even tho i have been runnin letro for the last 2 wks or so.. have taered down dose now tho..

o, and todays jab was the first time i caught a nerve.. not when i was puttin it in my leg, but when it was and i was pushin down on the plunger, it must have been right next t one, cos it kept on touchin it, horrible sensation, caught it right at the end of the jab too and pulled the needle out real quick, luckinly all the oil had been put in, however it inevtibaly bled more than normal... uurrgghhhh, not somethin im in a hurry t feel again t be honest!!

what im doin at the mo dyskee is the ABBH program, but ive added some direct shoulder pressin into there too.. today was- bench 152.5kx3*10 sets hammer strength chest press- 50kx14 reps chest supported row- 112.5kx3*10 sets seated row- 87kx19 reps *** will be upping weight much more next week, want to be failing between 12-15 Db standing OHP- 40kx5*2 sets 40kx4.75 reps ;-) 38kx5*2 sets EZ curls- 60kx10*3 sets great session.. i think strength has dropped slightly due to slight lack of trainin and 'inconsistent' eating, but it will be back up soon no doubt!! but enjoyed the set up of the routine.. the failure set after bench and row was great, got a great pump from it and really nailed the muscle obviously in a much differnet way..

I fcukin hate you!!!!! I'm sh1t at pressing and you just depress me I'm not getting much strength gains of these m-drol, they're making me feel sick as fcuk all the time, mega tired, constantly pumped back but ...I have added 7lbs in weight and look a lot fuller (even my mrs noticed). Am now in possession of some additional supplements so let the fun begin:)

let it begin indeed.. thats strange that mate, cos although SD does put weight on me, the major increase really is the strength.., but yeh it really makes me 'fill out'.. pumped all the time etc.. im happy wi todays session but not overjoyed.. i hit 160x5 2 wk ago, now im feelin lik ei'd prob just get 6 with 150, well that was today anyway.. maybe just need another solid wk under my belt of eatin and training and i'll be reet.. could letro have had any effect on strength loss? tapered down the dose now anyway as gyno seems to be controlled/ goin/ gone.. :-)

today-havent trained legs properly in a few wks... :-( not great.!! front squats- 110x10 110x8*3 Lying Leg curls- 67kx8*2 60kx8*2 hangin leg raises- 10, 10, 8, 8 -- did more on the last sets but dint count some of them as they werent full reps. seated calf raise- 70kx10*4 good session. was suposed to do 5*10 on everything, but started doin 10's on the squats and it was like cardio.. dropped them to 8's and will upo weight by 5k next wk.. really felt the, 'havent trained my legs in a few wks' comeback session... things have been a bit hectic but will be trying to stay on top of it more over the coming weeks.

LOL... I have no tollerance for high rep work on legs either. Maybe 1 set just about but not multiples. Double figure reps are no fun at all

Not so long ago, on mtb's recommendation, I began doing 3 sets of 20 reps for squats lol, thanks Mick  seriously hard work. Now I do my normal working sets and throw in a 20 repper at the end on 60kg and this seems to work pretty good.

yeh thats the good thing duskee with his routines, u dont seem to be completely blitzed, however u kow u have definately worked very hard... remind me what the waterbury method is again?? i think i have it saved on my comp actually.. tom- yeh i used t do lots of twenty repper stuff... probably throw some in when im done with this routine.. but so far im likin the set up.. nice and simple, hit everythin hard.. tomorro is goin to be dips chins/ pullups shoulder press- was goin to do DB clean and press, but im thinkin i may try run the rack in singles, and do them unilaterally... like a medley of Db shoulder pressin.. reverse grip pushdowns- although its not exactly as chad waterbury has it set out in his plan, i really dint wanna neglect shoulders, in fact i wanna keep hittin them v hard.. tomorros session will be either 4x8 or 5x10, i'll probably go with 4x8, apart from shoulder press and pushdowns..

I have no doubt you'll be cracking 200 in no time you fcuker... must be good motivation knowing that you'll piss me right off LOL Bloody typical. This week my gym has a DL challenge. Once again, 4 weeks ago, 225 (quite well too if I do say so myself) would have me rubbing shoulders with some of the power boys (as it's no straps etc) but I suspect I'd struggle on 210 ATM

my gym does **** all like that.. however there are some strong guys in the gym.. think im prob one of the stronger general 'BBers', but some of the Pler guys take the piss with some of their lifts... mate its funy with deads, i was at 220k when i was 20, after about 6 months of trainin them, but ruined my back and things aint been the same since.. loads of lower back probs, so i may take it steady with them and get form and flexibility on the right track!!

snap... altho a tad older I was still in my early days and did 230 for 3 (touch and go reps I must confess) at 14st..... only now am I starting to venture back into that territory and I'm now 10+ years on and anything up to 3st heavier (only 2 ATM). It'll be there, it's just a matter of having the confidence in your head, any -ve feedback and you can forget it. The gym challenges are good. Most have been more fitness orientated so these ones are good but I'm not the fittest or the strongest LOL unless they made everyone use a DOH grip  . I think they should weight catagorise it tho as obviously us roidheads and those who train for power and are 18+st are gonna piss over anyone else

haha.. i've got t get workin the pins with all guns blazin.. i want at least a 140k single on the Front squat.. so, today's session, it was tasty!! Dips- +40kx8*4 --- last set was tough, got the others quite comfortably tho.. up weight next wk Pull upps- +10kx8*2 +10kx7*1 BWx5+3 --- i burnt out soooo quick on these, will do them before dips next wk see if it helps. Standing DB OHP- singles, run the rack! 34, 32, 30, 28, 26 40, 38, 36, 34, 32 50x1!!!! R 50xF- L 46x1- both arms 42x1- both arms single arm reverse grip pushdowns- 30kx10*3 very good session, felt great!! the shoulder presses were class.. good for endurance too, had me pantin it was crazy!! did, right arm then left arm, then re racked the weight and got next and continued etc.. as if i was against the clock.. will be doin these.. although next time im gonna start at the heaviest.. but very happy with a 50k DB overhead!! just failed on the left arm tho, got it half way up but t be hopnest couldnt get it comfortable on the shoulder when settin up.. ah well!! next wk :-)

cheers mate.. yeh ii was well happy!! i saw it starin at me and i just thought, f*ck it ur mine!!! i'll make sure i hit both arms with the 50 next wk!!when i was doin them everyone stopped what they were doin cos i was doin singles on each arm then re rackin and grabbin another DB and doin the same.. not sure anyone has done this at my gym.. :-) but yeh, very happy wi the 50k DB

just to give you something to aim for I pulled 220x3, 240x1 then 180x10 .. reckon I could have hit 260k if I hadn't done 3 reps with the 220. Also managed 90k ohp for 2x2.
