Re:Makin Moves The MAX-OT Way... Pics page 1 - 14 September 2008 17:35
I took about 4 caps pre-workout, I think that is 6mg? I would only bother taking it on workout days too. I seriously doubt it has the ability to build any mass. I ran it for 2 weeks initially every day and didn't notice any difference, so ran the last 2 weeks just pre-workout but at a bigger dose and my workouts got better.

I think androgenic = strength, hardening and anabolic = musclegain. In a very simplified way. They are you should stack an anabolic compound with an androgenic. Although 'they' from what I've been learning are quite often wrong now a days lol.

Looking good by the way. I read the bit about your missus. I think mine knows I'm on gear, but she seems to be really cool about it. Whenever we talk about steroids she always says stuff like "she thinks the sides are over-exaggerated" or "there isn't any hard evidence proving they're dangerous" etc. I think her view is softer than most women because her children at some point have all been on steroids, one of her kids is still on them. I think when the time comes for me to inject I think she may help me...

Good luck with the cycle mate, I hope you enjoy Epi as much as I do. I saw your proposed cycle in the other post, and although 11 weeks is a long time from my own experience I don't think it'll be too harsh on you. Just prepare yourself for the battle you'll have with yourself when you're about to come off. You'll start making up excuses as to why you can stay on lol.

gonna do a re-cap so far too to see where i am in terms of weight shifted on each session...

BB Bench- 120k ***
Inc Bench- 105k **
Hammer press- 65k **
Dips- 35k **
Skulls- still to do
CG Bench- 90k ***
BB Shoulder press- 73k **
DB shoulder press- 36k **
Hammer shoulder press- 65k **
Weighted pull ups- +10 k ***
Pronated grip pull downs- 87k ***
Sup grip pulldowns- still to do
Rack pulls- 200 x6, 220 x4 *
BB rows- 100k * / may swap for tbars or DB rows
Deads- still to do
Squats- 140 x5 *
Front squats- 90 x8 ***
Leg press- 160 on stack ***
SLDL- 80 x11 **
Lying ham Curls- 56k **
Seated ham curls- still to do
calves- leg press raise 120x 12 *** / seated calf raise 60k **
EZ / DB preacher curls- DB 18k *** / EZ 40k **
BB curls- 50k **
DB curls- still to do
Reverse grip EZ curls- 35 *** V strict
Hammer curls- 26k *
Pinwheel curls- still to do

*** = will up weight the next time exercise is performed
** = will give that weight 1 more session
* = will give that weight 2 more sessions

all weights are the weights used for the rep range im using at the moment!
so for most thats between 11-15 over 3 rest paused sets, some exercises its a straight set between 12-15, squats and racks its heavier so its between 4-8 reps, and pull ups and dips its between 15-20 reps.

m also thinkin now to change some of the rep schemes up..
im thinkin of havin 1 heavy upper sessin a week and 1 the same as is now, the same with lower body.
im just thinkin this will help with strength gains more on some of the exercises as i gain mass a bit easier at lower reps on some exercises too!!

Re:Makin Moves The MAX-OT Way... Pics page 1 - 17 September 2008 11:50
yesterdays session-

Hammer chest press- 65x 8,4,3 = 15- up weight to 70k next time.
hammer shoulder press- 70x 7,5,2 = 14- waited too long between 1st and 2nd set so would have prob been around 12-13 reps really.
DB lateral raise- 12k x20
Reverse grip pushdowns- full stack x8,5,3 - wouldnt normall yhave done these but the benches were in use so couldnt do CG bench.
wide grip pull downs- 87x 10,6,5 - too light, will up weight next time.
DB rows- 46k x 8,6,4 - too light again.. havent done for a while so was just testing the water.. could def get reps out on 50's.

was a very good session tho. felt very strong, although the weights dont reflect that. could have gone heavier on everythin really i think.
felt stupidly pumped too and delts, tris were rock hard durin the session. think the MTRN is kickin in!!
was supposed to do BB rows but im thinkin im gonna swap them for DB rows for a while, havent done them in an age so gonna have a go at these again.

I actually thought I was in sh!t nick so it was nice to hear the positive comments from the lads.

Not decided on winter bulk as yet but it won't be anything silly in terms of weight gain .. few lean lbs and I'll be happy.. cost will be a deciding factor as will wether or not I compete next year

will see what 2009 brings...

Re:Makin Moves The MAX-OT Way... Pics page 1 - 18 September 2008 20:07
have decided that from now on i am going to up the volume slightly for my chest exercises. and also for quads!

typical session will now look like-
upper-
chest- Bench x heavy rest pause set (3 rest paused sets = between 6-10 reps in total), followed by a lighter rest pause group = between 12-16 reps in total.

quads- warm up then perform my stright set of between 6-8 reps, then will increase weight and perform a heavy set of between 2-4 reps, then will perform the widowmaker which is a 20 rep set.. the widowmaker always performed on a separate exercise from the heavier sets..
i will also still continue to add in other exercises now and again but will only be 1 all out set.. say for tris, maybe add in pushdowns after skulls or dips etc!!
also thinkin of following the same protocol with pull ups/downs as i do with chest. so will do a heavy rest pause group, then i higher rep rest pause group!!

i seem to grow best from lower reps with certain exercises.....??
and im really wanting to start to get pretty strong... dont just wanna look in good shape i wanna back it up i some good lifts too!!!

Re:Makin Moves The MAX-OT Way... Pics page 1 - 18 September 2008 21:44
tonights sesh was-

leg press (machine) straight sets
165k x4 - 135 x10 <--- will up weight on both of these next time.. had seat too close on the heavy set so will up weight next time and same with the second set.

20 rep (widowmaker) set
Back squats-
90k x20 <---- will go heavier next time on this also..went at the first few a bit quick therefore lungs felt
it more than quads.

Seated Ham curl- straight sets (with dropset)
75k x12, dropped to 45 x10 <--- included negatives on all reps and finished with a static hold.

Seated calf raise-
lot of variations of negatives, static holds, quick reps, slow reps.. all x40k!! always find it difficult trainin calves.. i have an achillis problem stemmin from my cricketing days and i dont have full ROMin my left ankle
.. strugglewith seated raises (sinkin my heel down into the ground), tends to pull my foot round and stress it to the point where it is fairly painful!

Standin DB curl-
26k x 9, 4, 3 <--- will prbs up the weight next time

DB pinwheel curl-
28k x12 <--- straight set to failure.. pause (10 sec) rep out..
total annihilation!!

threw in some MTS hammer strength preacher curls-
35k per arm x 8, dropped to 25 x repped out..

all in all a good session.. quads felt good.. felt i could def go to 100k for my 20 reppers which im happy with.
arms are nice and pumped too!!

i seem to grow best from lower reps with certain exercises.....?? is this on different bodyparts?  If so could be down to different number of fiber types
dont just wanna look in good shape i wanna back it up i some good lifts too!!! .. only way to be IMO .. unless your dieting for a show then strength tends to drop in the last few weeks

yeah mate seems ot be on different body parts..
my chest responds well to lower rep bench work, i think my quads do best from both ends of the scale too so usin high and low reps for them should hopefully  work wonders, same with lats..
i get much stronger from doin heavy pull ups, but my lats grow better from higher reps, so i'll mix in both, without over doin it!!!

and yeah ur right..
i dont wanna just look the part... i like feelin strong too!!
i doubt ill ever be steppin foot on stage and if i do then ill worry about strength then.. butive been messin around with high volume trainin with lighter weights and havent worked on gettin my strength up for a while so def need to jump back on that boat!!!

Re:Makin Moves The MAX-OT Way... Pics page 1 - 18 September 2008 23:04
diet today-
1- 50 g whey
large bowl oats

2-
6 egg whites
2 yolks
3 mini scotch pancakes - low fat and sugar
banana

3-
4 egg whites
3 yolks
2 slices toast
2 slices turkey bacon

4-
homemade meatballs
onion
garlic
tomato pasta sauce
80g wholewheat pasta
courgette

5-
50 g whey, 50 g dextrose

6-
4 egg whites
3 yolks
3-4 small slithers of brie

7- 1/2 tub quark
20g whey
dash milk
tablespoon peanut butter

im gettin plenty of food and protein but with me bein slightly more laid back with how much im eatin and allowing myself a few more yolks in the eggs than normal, im worried im gonna get carried away and start eatin too much fat.. so im gonna cut back on the yolks again, keep it to 2-3 a day and just pack loads of egg whites in there!!!

in all honesty mate.. touch wood, im not feelin any sides, and i know epi usually takes a couple or more wk t really kick in but i just feel that..' i can'.. if u know what i mean!??
im gonna put another order in startin next week for the rest of the cycle stuff and just feel that i can up to 40mg due to things feelin v good at the mo..
if it got to much i would drop it to 30 again but there have been plenty on here who have run it at higher than 30mg, and they seemed fine!
i ran SD at 30mg a day and to be honest i was fine wi that and that is deemed to be a harsher compound so i think i'l be fine.. :-)

yeah fingers crossed i will start to really make progress over the next couple weeks..
wil prb take some pics similar to those on the first page within the next wk or 2 so hopefully i will be improving on those in terms of size and thickness possibly.. when i took those i was cuttin slightly so the new ones should hopefully be a bigger, thicker me, albeit with slightly blurry definaition!! sayin that i dont seem to have lost much condition over the last few weeks at all, and thats after leeds fest as well!!

Leave the fats as they are .. as long as they are 'good' fats then they will be beneficial to your diet in particular your energy and strength levels.
Add some meat into meal 6 and keep the eggs .. make meal 2 6 whole eggs.

cheers mate.. normally that evenin meal, meal 6, would have a small portion of chicken too, sliced stuff but i had run out.. but ive just cooked off loads of chciken breats today so that shouldnt be a problem now!!

im just worried about the big increase in fats mate that im now havin... usually i would go with ike 7-8 egg whites with a couple yolks but now im eating 6 + more yolks everyday than i normally do... just not wanting to add too much fat in the long run!!

I'd rather you drop the cheese and add the yolks in.
I was always strict with fat and made better gains and felt better when I added some fat in .. fats also helped me when I was dieting.

Re:Makin Moves The MAX-OT Way... Pics page 1 - 19 September 2008 20:53
yeah mate i pile the water down..
bein a student makes everythin pretty easy!! :-)

i reckon i could quite easily gain around a stone after the whole 10 wks.. but i want to make sure its a good stone..
gonna weight myself tomorro at the gym.. the scales arent great so will pick a cheap set from wilkos this wk, but i reckon ive put on some weight already.. i look fuller, back and delts look fuller too which makes me happy!

but yeah like i said as long as its all good weight i add and im not lookin like ive added too much fat etc.. if i get to 17 stone ill be pleased! will continue to slowly bulk over xmas and new yr .. then im really tempted to cut as if i were dieting for a show.. just to test myself.. see how far i can take my self etc...
who knows, maybe even do a show!!
