DonPaulo666 I can't believe I have been moved, how dare you, HOW DARE YOU! Quiet down in the cheap seats! Fraid I cannot help you on this as I am a bulk unflavoured kinda guy when I buy protein. Seems like there's a lot of shout for myprotein though. Maybe by a couple of smaller samples so she can try em out?

Gaspari Myofusion or STC Nutrition the latter being cheap but very flavoursome and packed full of protein.

Really hard question to answer this one as one mans poopoo is another mans strawberry. Personally, the best tasting I have tried is sci-mentor's premium whey - choc mint and also the strawberry being subtle in taste and lacking that artificial sweetness.

Syntha 6 should tate nice, its only 55% protein, there's a lot of fat and sugars in there. It would really depend on the users goals whether it is a suitable product or not. Its funny how a few years ago people really seemed to care about the quality of the products they bought but now everything is price led with people paying little attention to amino acid profiles or even protein content at times.

On your website extreme whey is £44.95 for 2.2kg. What is superior about it's amino acid content over the likes of unflavored whey which is around one third the price for a similar size? How can i justify using one serving of your whey when i can use three servings of unflavoured whey? For the sake of any doubt I have no interest in one being flavoured and the other not. I ask about the amino acid profile as the bulk unflavoured whey is 82% protein whereas your whey is 75%.

Our whey is a blend of 2 concentrates and isolate. The reason for 2 concentrates is they are processed to different levels thus making their amino acid profile different. This means that the blend allows us to prioritise the amino acids so they are in the same order as those in human muscle. We don't discount products on our own site so that we don't take sales from our stockists like Monster, Affordable, Muscle Finesse, UKSupplements.co.uk, whey-protein.co.uk etc, or the gyms that we supply. We do offer 25% off for members of the forums we sponsor so the price comes down to a similar price as the aforementioned websites. We produce our own products at our own factory, we only use high quality ingredients from reputable raw material suppliers so I can't speak for what other people are selling other than your suggestion (s12345x) that you can buy the same amount of unflavoured whey for a third of the price is incorrect. My protein are selling 2.5kg of unflavoured whey for £26.99 or 2.25kg of flavoured whey for £27.50. Take 25% off the price of ours and the price becomes £33.71, when you take into consideration that our product is a 2 concentrate blend with isolate, flavourings, sweetner and also free delivery I don't think our price is unrealistic in relation to the products My Protein are supplying.

Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate and the second largest ingredient in extreme whey according to your label and website. Each 35 gram serving contains 4 grams of carbohydrate. I imagine some/most of this is made up from the maltodextrin? Whey isolate is the third ingredient in extreme whey. Therefore each serving of extreme whey has less that 4 grams of whey isolate. Most probably 1-2 grams per serving? Can't see this providing any real world benefit. 4.54kg of unflavoured whey can be purchased on myprotein's website here for£28.88 so approximately £14.40 per 2.2kg.

DonPaulo666 I buy in bulk so don't care and therefore wouldn't know where to start. I'd like to get the missus something that will help with post op recovery (knee surgery). She's very picky when it comes to flavours so what's the best tasting powder out there??? ps, no point in posting in appropriate forum as this one gets the most traffic. Boditronics Express Whey always comes highly recommended in terms of taste, selection of flavours aswell as an outstanding nutritional profile. for the usual Strawberry, Banana, Chocolate flavours etc then Gaspari MyoFusion and BSN Syntha-6 are well spoken of. If that's true that (IMO) is absolutely disgraceful. 1-2g of isolate in a supposed blend that they are bigging up because it has both concentrate and isolate in it? WTF?!
