Jen Hendershott - she's a real classy lady... :-) Her or Tanji Johnson, or Mindi O'Brien Inga Nevauskaite is based in the UK though is she not? And very prominent on the US Figure scene...

I really enjoyed Body Power 2009. Thought some changes could be made to the layout of the space. Often in these big halls you get dead areas. The ends of the hall can be dead space. Most of the 'action' ie stages were at the front. Muscle Talk and the one behind it, the Power Lifting (which had a strange layout - no focus) and the seminar area behind the Power Lifting, meaning the back had not many people. Muscle Talk could have had a higher stage, stuff going on there was good could have been made more into 'something'. This ain't down to MT but there wasn't a great amount of stuff to buy at good prices, no one offered great stack packages (a way to keep revenue up but offer more rather than just single items at low ie unprofitable prices) but home delivered. Carrying protein home isn't great fun. The free samples were good but some were so cut down in size they were one mouthful, if protein suppliers think being tight with a high profit product is going to make me buy you are wrong. At least give one normal size shakes worth, do you want my business or not? A lot of the clothing was dated muscle design not good new gear. I got a free T from Prolab but it was so thin and too big. A free t that I can't wear is a waste of your promotional budget. Better to charge a fiver but have different sizes. Its means you are selling them at cost price but they are good and guys actually wear them. Oh and Ditch the two stands that had nothing to do with muscle - teeth whitening and beer hats. The were lots of great guys to look at, some nice tatts. Be good to have seen more of the crowd getting their shirts off, more interaction. I'm not so fussed by seeing pros, or getting my photo with them. My aim on visiting would be to have fun, meet and see well built guys, buy some gear/nutrition. Learn something new and be more fired up to workout smarter.

Tyson would be interesting, as would some rugby players. Also, wondered if all of the talks could be filmed? I know a few vids are up, but that way people can see the ones that they miss because they are watching something else, either online library thing or have a (cheapish) DVD produced? I'd have bought one this year, because there was a lot I wanted to see which I couldn't.

Thanks for the feedback guys - we may not comment but we are still reading. Phil interesting point about filming everything. The only filming was really done by Eric who was working with MT. We should have made a film and sold it!

James After the success of the Body Power Expo at the NEC last month, plans are already well underway for a bigger, better Body Power 2010! Guests this year included Mariusz Pudzinowski, Kai Greene, Phil Heath, Flex Lewis, Daz Ball, Carly Thornton, Nicole Pitcher-Scott, Dorian Yates, Rich Gaspari, Mark Felix, Dan Hardy, Michael Bisping and more. We're looking for ideas as to who people may like to see at Body Power 2010. Obviously we can't get everyone, but your ideas are welcome; please note down why you've suggested the people too. How about some industry 'experts' so people can learn a thing or too as well? Anita Bean - her books on sports nutrition are quality. Susan Kleiner - Again very knoweldgable in sports nutrition/nutrition for health Damien Hughes - Motivaional Speaker/Sports Psychologist has worked with Man-U for years etc went to a seminar of his the other week and it was pretty eye opening!! He reportedly costs abuot £15K for a day though! Of course all the usual industry celebs are cool too. How about getting John Roman & Dave Palumbo in?? They'd be histerical!

Timea Majorova. I reckon a guest spot from her would prove very popular. And putting her face on the flyers and poster might bring in a bigger crowd than Dorian's mugshot too!
