What would you classify as chest over training...? 02 November 2009 20:23 (permalink)
Hello,

I'm just trying to change my chest workout a bit for the best gains possible without over working.
This is what i'm currently doing for chest/tri/shoulders and had good gains on my triceps and shoulders but reconsidering my chest.

Weighted tricep dips 3 x 8
Flat bench - 3 x 8
Incline Bench - 3 x 8
skullcrushers - 3 x 8
Seated DB Press - 3 x 8

I'm working to be aesthetically pleasing more so than for anything else so was considering adding pec dec flys in as i'm not a fan of DB flys?

Thanks

I would classify chest overtraining as training the chest numerous times a week using high volume.

Overtraining is when you cannot turn over in bed because your chest/shoulders/back ache that much.

That lot does not look too much to me.

So if i added pec dec without getting rid of anything that would be okay?
