I agree a lot are filled with fluff ingredients, especially a couple of the most popular. I would add though that actually buying a cup of coffee (as opposed to making your own at home) does tend to cost at least the same if not a lot more than most pre workouts.

Quite. Def if your buy pre-wo supps from Starbucks!

Agree with Dazc in that that bing stimmed up every session can become counter productive.

I think there's a line between having a little caffeine first thing in the morning to wake up quickly for a drive then gym sesh, and being "stimmed up" though... Or at least I like to think so!!

I'd just save up till you can afford a decent product instead of trying to do something on the cheap as I suspect you'll only be disappointed with the outcome from the product.

I prefer to save these kind of products for a once in a while treat to be honest.

That way I get more out of it, it lasts longer and I feel like I've taken it for the first time so my body doesn't build up and get used to it.

They can be a good weapon in the arsenal, but not an essential by any means, more of a luxury.

I love the smell of steak in the morning...
