I dont know about best but those Isopure ones always look good and the profile is excellent but ive not tried them. A bloke I know in the gym always has the Inner Armour Nitro Peak 50 ones again great profile but ive not had them.

What is the benefit of something like this over regular whey?

Ah I see. Yeah to be fair the 30 seconds or so that it takes to make a whey shake is pretty inconvenient.

Lol at ck - yes it's just a convenience thing, there are some really good ones out there depending on what you're after. Maxi milk has a lot of sugars in but there are other options which are just protein as well.

Quiet expensive for what they are, id rather keep a few scoops of whey in my shaker and have a bottle of water on me too, not too much inconvenience there, rather than pay top dollar for an RTD bottle.

I've tried the whey refresh by reflex - that is nice, more of a cordial type taste. 40g per bottle iirc. MP now do a similar thing. Now the Maxi-milk or MP Promilk are pretty similar and are as the name suggests more of a milk-shake. I love these - I do not buy them but have had a few dozen over the years and any time I get some they do not last long. Only ever had chocolate btw. I've an issue with the protein shots. I know, I said it. I am suspicious as to whether or not it is feasible to suspend 24g+ of protein in 70-100ml of liquid. So on the RTD's give me 30-40g of protein in 330-500mls of cordial type or milk based beverage and we are good to go. Reflex Whey Refresh or MP Promilk would be my unbiased choice. They must be chilled or the nice taste is not so nice any more!

Ingredients wise they are pretty much the same and therefore it is just really a decision over which brand or look you prefer imo.

for me, i like the MP promilk and the maximilk. you can get the maximilk from amazon for a little over £1 a bottle in a case of 8 (subscribe & save), where as the promilk is £12 for 8, so the maximilk wins it for me. MP have their strawberry on offer at the minute as it's short dated, but i've found that when it's close to it's BBE date, it gets lumpy and i don't like the texture. i ordered some maximilk from amazon over xmas and they arrived with 2 of the bottles having been drank and returned the the case. 2 empty bottles with grim mould growth around the mouths of the bottles
