When to take Peptide Fusion?
05 November 2009 21:42
( permalink)
On training days (training after breakfast) I have Instant Whey post workout, followed by another in the afternoon and then finally one before bed. I want to replace the bedtime shake with Peptide Fusion. If I'm not training the following day I will take another Instant whey at breakfast. Question: Should I replace this with Peptide Fusion? Also, should I take Instant Whey pre workout bearing in mind it's early in the morning. If so, that would be Protein, workout, Protein, another shake a few hours later and finally Slow Release Protein before bed.

whey with water 1st thing in the morning is fine. That's too much reliance on protein shakes. 4 shakes in the day is a bit much

I would not personally take that much whey unless I had a good probiotic to hand:)

He means it may result in a knotted stomach, gas and/or runs you would get from 4 shakes a day especialy if you doing it everyday! Have a tub of cottage cheese or quark before bed instead of a shake, especialy Peptide Fusion considering it's less than pleasent taste/smell/consistancy!
I'm here to attain not maintain

As abiove 4 shakes a day is quite a lot, try to replace 1 or 2 of them with a solid food soruce instead, however i realise this isnt always easy so as mentioned a probiotic may be helpful.

id personally just use Peptide Fusion as a pre-bed shake, drip feed your body with quality proteins while you sleep. you can use Instant Whey as a post-work shake if you wished, but you'll be better with a product with some fast acting carbs and proteins. Solid meal to be consumed 45-60mins after training.

anything with whey+dextrose or whey+maltodextrin will do. I buy my bulk glucose from the bulk suppliers and simply add it to my whey

James M So is it an alternative to casein? It contains miceller casein. It's just more of an all round shake. It's a blend which contains a ratio of 33:33:33 made up from egg white, miceller casein and whey.

What you thinking? Miceller Casein the is the perfect protein for a pre-bed shake. With pre-bed shakes i always check the products ingredient list and make sure Casein is one of the first proteins listed, meaning that product has a good ratio of Casein included

I'm looking for a pre-bed shake and was just going to get regular micellar casein, now thinking peptide fusion will be a better option.
