BigCommerce looks pretty good mate - what don't you like about it?
I would offer some help, but I don't know much about off the shelf solutions - we make bespoke shops for our clients. I would go with something simple to begin with and keep sunk costs down - you can always improve as the sales grow?
Just the fact I have to pay I think haha! This project is something I can't put a lot of time into at the moment so don't like the idea of paying for something that might not be up and running until later in the year! Might re-register for a free trial and give it a proper go though.
