Which one would you go for & why? 21 January 2012 14:17 (permalink)
My local gym are knocking out 5lb tubs of protein @20% off their normal price (£32 a tub, usually £40).  Just want some opinions.  Taste.  Value for money.  Effectiveness.  Any input.

USN IGF-1 Pure Protein.

Cytosport Muscle Milk.

Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion.

I tried IGF-1 last night @ the gym, chocolate flavour & found it tasted excellent & it seems to have a good nutritional content from what I can see.  The others I've never tried.

Thanks.

Myofusion for me. I love gaspari stuff. Just so skint at the moment so I'm having to use bulk suppliers.

I love the taste. Every single flavour is superb.

Don't take flavoured myself but Gaspari always gats rated excellent on taste. Check to nutritional profiles too.

My gym sold off a load of maxi muscle stuff when they changed to a different company- but it all had a really close best before date- so maybe just check the best before dates?

At that price none, that's £64 for 4.5kg, have a look on myprotein or other bulk suppliers where that turns into £45 ish

                ^ x2

Alot of money for protein, you are definately paying for the name and te companies overheads, advertising, marketing, fancy packaging, gasparis 9 irons lol.

I would look elsewhere such as MP, BBW.

But if money doesn't bother you then go for any, they all do the same job, the only difference you'll notice from one to another is flavour, but as I haven't tried any I can't advise.

Myofusion tastes amazing but as mentioned price is a bit steep, bulk suppliers would be better value for money.

Possibly use this opportunity to try one that you haven't tried? At least you havent paid full whack if you don't like it.
