Working visa in usa and australia

Thinking of going travelling with the girlfriend and wanting to visit a few countries but the two we would like to work in specifically are america and australia.

The problem we have is my girlfriend got a reprimand for a possesion with intent of a class b drug as a minor at the age of 14, (shes now 24).

Does anyone know what the chances are of getting a working visa in america with this on her record, it only shows up on a crb check, is a spent conviction and was as a minor BUT its drugs and we all know america view these convictions!
