X-Mass Cycle
-
11 October 2009 19:53
( #1 )
Hi guys, This cycle is going to be for a recomp/ strength based cycle, as I need to stay in my weight limit of U70kg. I am planning in running Generix Labz X-Mass at 120mg (3 x 40mg caps) a day. Is the normal cycle length 4 weeks or can it be run for up to 6 weeks? I have Clomid on order, which will be run at: 150mg day 1, 100mg day 2-11, 50mg day 12-21. I will be also be running Cissus-Drol during PCT. As X-Mass is unmethylated, will I still need to run Milk Thistle for liver protection? Also, is their anything else I will need to add to this cycle? Cheers

Sounds fine mate - milk thistle is your own choice, whilst apparently unmethylated I did get very dark pee when I let hydration levels slip on x-mass - I wouldn't use it personally I'd just maintain very good hydration.

Cheers for the reply Celt. Always knowledgable. I try to drink app. 3 liitres a day. Is this about right, or should I aim for more? And also, will I need to take anything for shin/back pumps, as I do alot of cardio for MMA i.e. taurine or potassium?

I'd be looking at 4 litres mate, with more around training sessions. Taurine & potassium are worth considering mate - I get potassium by taking a few gm of lo-salt every day on cycle - cheap & effective for me

You going to do a little write up once finished fella? Just intrested in your findings as this is something I would not consider running as a stand alone plus Im also a martial arts fan.

Hi mate, Yep I will try and keep a journal of this cycle :) Wanted to try something a bit different to the usual epistane as 1st cycle, and it appears tren is very good at giving a recomp effect and big strength gains. Hopefully, it will be a good cycle as like you said at is normally run along side another PH/DS. MMA4life

no offence mate, but don't you think you could improve on your strength quite a lot without having to resort to x-mass? i'm not having a go at you so please don't take this that way but 80kg squat isn't that much, if you started training heavy that would shoot up quite quickly. if you got your squats up you'd probably notice all your other lifts improving quite steadily as well. you've obviously decided what you're going to do and i can tell you that you will really like the stuff (just entered my 3rd week) it's just a shame to use it when you could still make good strength gains naturally and then take the x-mass to really make you strong. if you gave 3months of heavy lifting a go and then came back to the x-mass you'd probably get a lot more out of it. as for your questions, yes a lot of water is advisable. don't really have to measure it just try always having some by you (pissing every 30-45mins is a good indication that you're hydrated). wouldn't worry about salts etc if you're eating right just maybe have a lucozade hydroactive (only 50kcal!) or low cal electrolite drink after the gym. liver support isn't essential but i run it anyway, milk thistle along with coq10 and red rye yeast for bp (will run this through into pct). i have used genetic edge cycle insurance before, is cheap and keeps things easy. if you get pumps then i'd recommend taurine from myprotien. very cheap and works a charm. as for length of cycle i may push 8weeks @120mg/day i have used it at much higer dose and feel much better this time round at the lower end. started wanting to cut but have been feeling so good on this that it's turning into a body recomp. weight staying the same, running between 2500-3000kcal over 4/5meals but bodyfat reducing slowly. whatever you decide to do good luck

Hi all, I am contemplating running this cycle after the Christmas break due to time restrictions before Christmas. Also, I do not know when my clomid is going to be delivered, but may could always run an OTC PCT. Suggestions guys? Cheers MMA4life

low dose x-mass, maybe 80mg/day (which i have been told is enough for a cut with some strength gains) could have an otc pct. i'd go, standard atd protocol (eg inhibit-e), 11-test (at 100mg/day til all tub used up), cissus-drol (double dosed for a month) and maybe even trans resveratrol (from my protein is only £13) if you could afford it. that all adds up to a lot but i reckon you could nail that instead of clomid for pct.

£20 for atd, £12 trans res, £20 11-test, £44 for x2 c-d... £90+ yea i see what you mean. i suppose c-d and 11-test needn't be included, again that's just personal pref. if i were going otc only and had the money then i'd invest in that lot. i don't have enough faith in it otc pct yet to run just one compoound on its own. keeping my gains from all the time i've invested in my training and diet is worth more than a few £'s that i'd only end up spending on some other crap... or thai hookers. saying this it sounds like i know a lot about this stuff, i've only done a couple of cycles so i guess that it's all down to personal experience and experimentation. what works for one may not work for another etc

Far too many OTC supps especially for a mild PH. Im not saying do this but personally I would pick Cissus Drol as I react well to 6 bromo products and would not have any problems using as a stand alone. At the end of the day you will recover anyway its just serms are proven. I do agree we are all different and so just because I have been ok using OTC PCT supps does not mean somone else will be ok.

Cost wise do not really want to spend to much if this is neccesary lol Cheers MMA4life

Agree with daari, 90mg did next to nothing for me anyway.
